You need to talk to a doctor about this. MOST doctors WILL NOT operate on someone younger than 18 UNLESS they can verify that this is affecting your normal daily routine activities.

You can get it covered by insurance. My insurance company covered it 100% and I do not regret it one bit!

Please talk to your parents about this, and check out this site:

I doubt they will do the surgery right now because of your age. Depending where you live has lots to do with the cost. California and Florida seem to be the most expensive for plastic surgery. One site lists doctors cost at $4000.00 plus hospital, (about 2 days).

Nice girls come in all different shapes and sizes :). You are too young for surgery; I would recommend buying minimizers and very good support bras (so as you get older they don't get droopy :)) for now and try not to wear tops that are too revealing if you're self conscious; as you get older you will learn to like them :). I was in the same boat you are and by the time I got to college I loved my curvy body :). And the surgery itself is alot to think about--scarring, recovery etc.

Depending on how much they take out and if you have had back problems due to the size of them, sometimes the surgery is covered by insurance.

I really understand what you are saying. When I was 16, I was overflowing my double D's.....while the rest of my body was thin. I hated how I looked. Then, I got older and realized it wasn't so bad, in fact, it was kind of nice to fill out my clothing. Truly, I hated it at your age. One fellow asked me out when I was 16, and his MOTHER told him that 'Nice girls aren't built like THAT' and wouldn't let him date me! Talk about something to remember, I could never forget that! Trust me............wait..........just wait. I believe you will find that you will have a change about how you are built, quite soon. (Trust me, NO one could have hated the way I looked as much as I did.........I had NO clue that there would come a day that I felt comfortable in my body. But, the days came.)
