Today I will be going in for my 2nd appointment and I am actually very nervous. With my last pregnancy, at my 2nd appointment the doctor told me during an ultrasound that my baby had died and we talked about either a D&C or to let it happen natural. With this pregnancy, I am already 2 weeks further then I was last time but I’m scared that I might get the same news. Has anyone felt like this and was scared to go see the doc?

Im going to go to the appointment regardless of how scared I may be... I guess I am looking for some words of encouragement and Im not alone on this feeling.

I can relate this too....When I was 10 weeks pregnant (not this pregnancy) I had a scan and was told that baby had no heart beat and like you was given the option to have a D&C or not. I waited for things to happen naturally but almost 2 weeks later I decided I could not keep on with a baby in me that I knew was not alive, so I had a D&C.
This was around 8/9 months ago and I am now just over 16 weeks pregnant...I was terrified at first and decided I had to go and have a scan at 10 weeks (same time the other baby died) but everything was fine, I just asked to see the heart beat. It was lovely.
I had another scan at 12 weeks and again the baby was healthy and jumping around. I am still a bit scared, but at least I am 6 weeks past the time I lost the other one. I feel better each week and have another scan in about 5 weeks. I can't wait but am still worried, I feel that things are fine though as my belly is growing fast!
Im trying to be possitive and advise you to do the same.
I know it's hard atfter a miscarriage but just try to look forward and take care.
Best of luck to you..x

every mother feels that way. even if there is no past history of miscarriages. take a deep breath and relax. if you do get the same news as last time it is out of your control, that sounds harsh but i dont mean it that way. sometimes you have to step back and look at what you have control over and what you dont.
if everything is fine then you put yourself through all of this for nothing. and like being pregnant isnt stressful enough as it is.

i know you are scared, and i feel for you, but keep going, you can and will get through this. you are already further along, that is a good sign, just keep reminding yourself you have to do all you can to make sure everything goes the right way. after that, it is out of your hands.

i will keep my fingers crossed for you--good luck♥
