I am starting to invest my money in stocks. How can I get a tax ID since I never had any income before?

if your an American citizen you can just use your Social Security number.

If you never had any income, then where did you get the money to invest? To answer the question your social security number is your federal taxpayer i.d number. If you are a nonresident alien that must file a return you will have to fill out form W-7, application for IRS Individual Taxpayer Indentification Number.

Presuming you are a US citizen, your Social Security Number is your Tax ID number.

Tax ID is for corporations, use your SS#. If you call an agent he will organize a corp for you do an LLC type. So you pay single taxes. Enjoy the write offs.
