You don't say how old the little girl is or where in the palate th tooth is and that will play into how the tooth is handled. It is best to get the little girl to a dentist. The dentist will probably send her for a dental surgical consult and then you will be told the best way to handle this toot. Chances are the tooth will end up being surgically removed.

My son had one in his hard palate as well. His was never even discovered until he was 19! He had some special xrays done in preparation for oral surgery for the removal of 4 baby teeth (he had been an extremely early preemie so still had baby teeth). The 5th tooth was discovered then. It was surgically removed with the others.
