Where did this come from? "Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up a stone, and you will find me there."

Here is the answer:
Gospel of Thomas
77 Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained.
Split a piece of wood; I am there.
Lift up the stone, and you will find me there."

I knew I had seen it somewhere, but it took some time to find it.

Hisgloryisgreat....
I'd have to disagree that gnosticism is the antichrist...
The Gnostic gospels, Thomas included, provide an interesting view that hasn't been subject to years and years of retranslation and selection.
That isn't to say that they haven't been changed around a bit, they're just a little more pure because they weren't found until recently, historically speaking.
The text of Thomas, and several other Gnostic Gospels can be found online at gnosis.org... the Gospels make up what is called the Nag Hammadi Library, a trove of texts dated back to Jesus' time.

Fascinating - I can now see why the Gospel of Thomas was not included in the canon. The issue you raise concerns the omnipresence of God - which is not as this gospel describes. Thomas Aquinas held that God's presence is to be understood in terms of God's power, knowledge, and essence. He said, “God is in all things by his power, inasmuch as all things are subject to his power; he is by his presence in all things, inasmuch as all things are bare and open to his eyes; he is in all things by his essence, inasmuch as he is present to all as the cause of their being” (Summa Theologica I, 8, 3).

The reason the Gospel of Thomas was not included in the bible is because it's origin is Gnostic.

Gnosticism is antichrist.

Be discerning. Chew the meat and spit out the bone.
