No it is not but I have a strong feeling that many do it anyway!
Any question that asks you to think beyond blind faith or is inappropriate in a way that might possibly titillate them is a threat to their belief system and rather than move on they want it banished.
It's called censorship and denial and many Christians are experts at both!

It is Christ-like to witness to nonbelievers in an attempt to turn them toward Christ. Who would get the report?

No it is not Christ like, it is better to work it out in a dialog and who knows the changes a person can make or a change of views. some people run people away from what is good.

As a member of the Y/A community, it is everyone's responsibility to report anyone who doesn't adhere to the community guidelines. Whether or not it is "Christ-like" is irrelevant as is whether or not you like or dislike what they have to say.
I have no idea whether Christ has a standard for "reporting" anyone on Y/A. Personally, I don't think he particularly cares about this little time waster that we indulge in.
Whether or not you are reported, it's up to Yahoo Administrators to decide if you have violated community standards and guidelines. If you have done so, then you find out about it. If not, you never know that you were reported.
Your beef should be with the Yahoo Administrator who disciplined you rather than someone who reported you. Apparently, the administrator is in agreement.

I don't think Christ would be wasting His time on Y!A. But besides that, I personally don't think you should report someone if they disagree with you. I do think you should report them if they're using obscene language at you or saying comments that help in no way but are only said to condescend or degrade you.

I get lots of thumbs down from people for daring to express my views ironically enough on a church that I used to be part of.
I think sometimes it hits too close to the bone and when faced with the truth people just slap a thumbs down or a report on you

no I don't believe so. to give an answer truthfully would be the best option. People can only comment on how things seem to them, they should not be condemned for it, unless it is blasphemous or dishonours God's/Jesus divinity in some way. Jesus said, 'love your enemies'. change can only be brought about through love.

I'm a Christian, and I have a motto. If you don't like what you read, don't like what you see on TV, etc., then don't read it and turn the channel. Everyone has differnet beliefs, thoughts, feelings, etc. It's what makes us unique. And remember "Judge not lest ye be judged." Just avoid reading or watching things that you do not agree with.

It's freedom of speech. If you report someone then you have alot left to go. Everyone is intitled to their own opinions.

the best thing for you to do is to setthem straight, point them to the truth. let them know that what they say is wrong and if they reject it....well then that's their issue. love your enemies and pray for those who oppress you. now that's Christ-like dude
