if you really know hes the one and you two are happy together and feel youre ready then i say do what you want but get on birth control before hand. make sure you take the pill every day. if you two are both virgins sounds ok. i wouldnt take the risk if youre not on the pill but it dosent mean you will get pregnant, then again you might. good luck.

I think around 18 yrs old. Here are some reason's in which I think it is worth waiting.

1. If you end up knocked up. At least you don't have much time left out of high school. Therefore you don't have to quit because your belly is showing. That way you will have a GED. It is three times harder to do school or get your GED when you have a kid.

2. You have more time to realize if the guy is going to go to college and leave you in the dust or if he is going to stay and help just incase you end up pregnant.

3. Commom sense with protection gets better with age. The first time it is a little nerve racking therefore things may slip.

4. It hurts like heck. But, still feels nice. But, trust me the older you get the less it hurts.

5. I would diff recommend being with another virgin. It will be alot easier. But, trust me it is so true. When I say *#& last a minute but being a parent last your whole life. I would wait.

i think you should wait until you r like 19 20 or 21 you r way too young for it and it would be extremely dangerous if you play sports and all the kids at school would think that you r a slu* and it would not be good to get pregnant at the age of 14 wait longer and do it when you have been together for a couple of years and r commited to each other
oh and your parents r just protecting you cause they dont want there 14 year old daughter with child dont hate them they love you and they no what is best for you dont fight them listen to them they care

You need to wait until you are north of twenty one. You will complicate your relationship, your life and your future. Sex is great, but not all it's cracked up to be. Save yourself for a real man, not some high school punk.

Do this: walk the grocery aisle where they sell the baby food. Look at the prices. Walk the aisle where they sell the diapers. Look at the prices.

No birth control ever invented is absolutely 100% fool proof, so what happens if you conceive a child? All this for the rush of a sexual climax?

Go take a walk in the park and just talk, hold hands, share life.

I would recommend you wait until out of high school or until married. When your young you want to do it, but once you are older and married you wish you and your spouse had waited for each other. Trust me I am 30 and I wish I had waited.
Now, I know you really want to do it now, so the best thing I can say is if you do go through with it please use protection.

As far as the age, everyone is different.

Your parents arent trying to be controlling they love you and dont want you to do something you will regret later in life.

Age is tricky. Some are ready for it a lot younger than others. Some are never ready for it at all. I'd have to know you a lot better to say.

The night of senior prom has a certain traditional quality going for it though, so I'll say then.

As to where and can you hide it from your parents? Where, somewhere private, and no, parents tend to figure this stuff out.

It's different for every one, but I always say 18-21. The thing is this......it's sacred for a woman and you have to feel good about what you've done because you'll have to live with that memory for the rest of your life. I waited 5 years with my boyfriend and I was over 21. I don't regret one moment of any of it. While every one else was doing it in high school and college they were messed up. Not that every one is messed up, but it was my individual choice and I made the right one for me. You need to do the same. Make the right choice for yourself. Only you can do that, no one else.

You are most welcome to have sex as soon as you are ready to make the commitment to having a baby. You read enough questions in here and you will find out that you are rolling the dice. And even if you do not have a baby, are you ready to have sex with someone who you are NOT going to marry? More than likely you will just be lockeroom talk about six months from now. That is the way it is.

Sorry, you are way to handle the baggage that comes with sex.

I hope you guys will wait 2-3 more years before taking this step. Your mom and dad arent being too protective... they love you and want the best for you. Listen to them... age?? 18 sounds about right.

Sex is for married people! God has commanded that sex be between a man and his wife. My husband and I both waited till we got married and it was totally worth it! We were both 21 when we got married and it has been 4 awesome years! Save yourself, you will never regret waiting, and you will always be proud of yourself for it. Look at it this way... do you want kids? Well when your kids get to the age where they want to start having sex, wouldn't you want them to be smart and safe and wait till they find their perfect match and have a perfect wedding night? Then be a good example for you future family! Make YOUR parents proud just like you will want your kids to make you proud!
