I am going to adopt a golden retriever puppy and wanted to ask other people's favorite breed.

Well i love Golden retrievers they are adorable but, i prefer to own small breeds so i think i would go with any of this two a Yorkie or a Schnauzer, i own both.

Golden Retriever, well trained is best. Stay away from Rottweilers and Pit Bulls. They are unpredictable and will
attack for no apparent reason. They will Scar, Maim, and Kill
without warning. German Sheppards are not suitable for Pets
either.They are Guard dogs and may attack for the wrong reason.
For Information about "Dangerous" and "Vicious" dogs, go
to "Dog Bite Law". Anyone even thinking about getting a
Pit Bull, or a Rottweiler should look this up.

I never met a golden retriever I didn't like. Outstanding choice. My favorite breed is an all American dog MUTT. I have a mutt that looks like he MAY be part this or that but we aren't really sure. He is probably the ugliest dog I.ve ever had, long hair here, short hair there, brn over there, red over here, white yet another place.

The only dog I ever had so far is my chocolate lab named hazel she's going to be 4 December 9th I got her from my aunt. My grandparents had a chow that was black and he was so cute but when he was 11 he ate rat poisoning and it was to late to save him and me and my sister loved him a lot! Also when my mom was a kid she said she had a golden retriever and my grandpa took him out in the woods and he ran ahead of my grand pa and ther was a guy hunting in the woods and shot the dog and problay ran cuz he realized he shot the dog and heard grandpa coming.

My favorite dog ended up being the american pit bull terrier, not becuase it is a popular dog but becuase they are extremely loyal dogs, also i will say lap dogs becuase they always want to be around you, but a golden retrieve i will say go for it, they are pretty smart dogs, pretty protective, and calm dogs, unless you make him playful, my buddie has golden retrievers, pretty dogs and always listen,

My favorite dog breed is the American Pit Bull Terrier. I adopted my Pit Bull from the pound about 7 months ago. It was the best decision I ever made, she is the perfect dog for me.

i have five dogs, but my dachsund is my favorite, he has the greatest personality. before him i had a golden retriever that lived for 16 yrs. she was the most loyal and loving dog ever, and i will never forget her. i love golden retrievers, i wish i still had one.

Hard to answer.....I'm crazy about most breeds( exept Pitt Bulls,Rottweillers,Chow-chow = the bully breeds). for awhile I wanted to have a Syberian Husky with big,beautiful blue eyes,but TX is Not The place to have this breed of dog. Is way to HOT in TX. Now my dream is to get a 2 Engish Bulldogs( boy and girl). Agaim, I can't have it the breeders are asking for way too much money.....The puppys are extremely expensive, I've beem to a pet store and online as well.

Danes were always my favorite, because that's what type of dog my family always had as I was growing up.
Now, I don't really have a preference. I adopted a lab and a mutt from the shelter and they are both fantastic companions!
