Ok...I got a ps3...eventually..my brother blew it up...not to pieces for those misunderstand.
We sent it to a shop..they sent us a replacement...Which was the 600$ version rather than our 500$ version we had before.
cool right??? right...for a bout two days....he blew it up agian..
but i believe i might be able to save this one...so..My question is..CAN ANY ONE TELL ME HOW TO TAKE A PS3 APART??!!
We cant send it back because that what they sent a letter saying if we...by we i mean my brother....blew it up again they would not replace it.
I get sound from it but the picture...yea..that the problem..
Any ways can any one help us???

First of all, you should have sent the Playstation 3 to Sony. Sony would have fixed the system for free because of the warranty. But since your PS3 has been opened by someone else, they might not fix it, or you will have to pay for the repairs.
Truthfully, I don't know how to take a PS3 apart, all I know is that on the rubber squares on the bottom of the PS2 can be taken off, and underneath the rubber squares are screws, the PS3 might be the same way, but I don't know for sure because I haven't tried to look under the rubber squares on the bottom of my PS3.

i cant believe they replaced the
first one if your brother is doing that
dont get anything like a ps3
i think i would strangle the life
out of someone if they blew mine up

Has he blown it up or just messed with the settings?
Try holding down the power switch on the front for about five seconds (till it bleeps). It'll reset the video display to the default settings.
Otherwise, send your brother back with it, see if they send you back one of them that isn't faulty!?

you need a new video card...and you should check your outlets in your house to make sure they aren't messed up.
you can probably find a local shop that will replace your video card, but i don't know how much is out for the ps3 yet.
