Hi I think you should keep your job and in the meantime look for one with the benefits that you deserve. It is always easier to find a job while you are working the problem comes when you get desperate at interviews, then it comes across that way. For some reason you give out a better vibe when you are more secure.
Good Luck

Unless you have another job to go to, you might want to go ahead and take the full-time work, but start looking for another full time job where you will get benefits, especially if you're not getting medical insurance and don't have insurance through another source. However, if it's just the bonus and salary increase you won't be getting and you love your job as much as you say, then you need to ask yourself which is your priority. If you are in this job because it's what you truly love to do, then stick with it. But if the money is that much of an issue to you, it's time to start looking elsewhere.
Ask for a day or two to think about it and do a bit of soul searching, and you'll have your answer.
Good luck!

A good full-time job is a job that pays good money, offers benefits, and gives salary increases when necessary. I wouldn't want to work there if one of these requirements are not given. Even though you're happy now, you won't be happy later. Some day, you'll need to see a doctor and if you don't have any benefits, you'll have to pay out-of-pocket. If you're a female and plan to have kids, it's very expensive. It costs $30,000-$40,000 just to have the baby at a hospital and doctor visits. Pretty soon, the cost of living will increase, so you'll want a salary increase to balance off the cost. It seems like the school is taking advantage of you.

Teaching assistants don't need any education beyond high school, so you're really pushing it by asking for benefits and bonuses.
However, if benefits were originally part of the job offer, go in and make that clear. Say "When we initially discussed this position, benefits were part of the package. I assume that's still the case?" If they go back on their word, negotiate a higher hourly wage.

If you start to look for another job, you may find full time with benefits, start to look more while working in this one. how long are you working there? Do you like the people you work with? I would start look for something else. You always can do anything you want. Good luck!

Without benefits you must be getting huge paychecks.
On the other hand you going to need these benefits, especially when you get older. Like cancer operations. Hospitals stays. Medicens to take. Sick days.
