some of my friends have been really funny with me lately and i really dont know why one of them i had a fall out with
we had an argument and then she told my ex i ws sleeping with her ex, which is complete rubbish and then people are just dead nasty for no reason, im just trying to do the best for myself with my job etc recently i got a promotion and recieved an audi a4 as my company car and people have started to act dead wierd around me. I would like to think it is not becasue of this bt it is the only reason i can understand their actions
do you think it is jealousy??
So many girls see me as a threat and i am the last person in the world who would ever try to come on to any one elses man---why do you think my girlfriends are snubbing me???

Sounds to me like the one who started the rumor about you and her ex is jealous. If the rest are believing whatever she is telling them (possibly due to their own jealousy) then you don't need them as friends. I know it's hard but the more successful you get you may need to rethink casual friendships, some people can't contain their jealousy when someone else does good. A real friend will be happy for your success and won't believe rumors. Also if some of them are in unhappy relationships that they are afraid to leave there could be some resentment there because you left your ex and are doing so good on your own. Keep it up and don't let other people make you feel bad. Congrats on the promotion.

I wouldn't say it's jealousy because if you accuse them of being jealous then that will make them even more mad. Just explain to them that you want to be their friend, but they have to stop being wierd. And if that won't work just think of it as a phase in their life. They either have to get over it otherwise you won't be their friend, or they can just stay mad and move on with your life.

sounds like a little jealousy going on there. First of all, decide how important these girls are to you. Then pick the most opinionated one & ask her what the problem is.

it's sad how many haters there are in the world. it's so true that on your way to the top, you often begin to see peoples true colors. the real ones will always stick by you as long as you remain true to yourself. as for your so called friends, i'm afraid they fall into the hater category and should be disposed of immediately. you have upgrades in your life and it's now time to upgrade socially as well. good luck and congrats on your promo.

You need to find some new friends.....obviously if they were your friends they wouldnt have turn their back on you.....just brush it off and move on.....it sounds like you can make new friends real quick.....trust me friends like that you dont want in your life...all they will do is bring you down.....Move on and find someone who will be your friend no matter what and stand by you through the rough times....Good Luck :)

And why not jealosy? When you suddenly rise a head taller than the rest of your company, of course they would feel bad about themselves not being where you are.
