My mom does sort of know about the suicidal thoughts, kids at my school found out about them and reported them to the principal, then he called my mom.

Hey there, just to let you know, I believe most people think about suicide at least at some point in their lives. Most would not admit it though. The old saying is true, though....."suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem." I know you feel as if there is no reason to live but that is so not true. You are here for a reason even though you may not know why just yet. Sweetheart do you realize how selfish you would be if you took your life? If you feel as though you are manic depressive, then you may be. You know yourself better than anyone. Regardless of what mental condition you may have, there is no shame in getting help and help is out there. who knows what tomorrow brings so do not deprive yourself of something potentially wonderful....K? God bless you:)

Girl suicide should be the last thing in your mind now, imagine how your mom could fell if you commit suicide?
Since your mom is called at your school i think she'll now believe you and she'll give you a good support.

I think your mom will really help you because that's what they are here for,to help there children when they need them.

Good luck on everything, hope everything goes well in your life.

Myself, I think seeking professional help would be an answer. Being manic is something to be concerned about in the long run??? could lead to long term effects on the body. be kind to yourself and seek HELP. it can be treated (try not to go the medication way) a holistic approach may help. Meditation?? Ask around and see what is out there.

It sounds like depression to me too. Have you tried talking with some other adult? If all else fails, check the phone book: There should be a suicide hotline listed, and those people are trained to look for things.

Good luck!

This may sound tacky but here it is... learn(teach yourself) to love life, do fun things, try to look at things from a different, brighter perspective. life aint easy and sometimes happiness aint either. The more you press on the stronger you will be. one life, one love.

Begin by talking with a guidance counselor at school. Together, you and he or she (i.e., the counselor) can discuss the matter with your mom so that you can get into proper treatment.

Best of luck to you,

Please talk to a counselor at school.

When you suffer from depression you know it. I have depression. I've learned if someone doesn't have Depression they either don't understand you or don't want to admit they do.

Have you told mom about these suicidal idealizations ? If not please tell your immediately. If that doesn't work find a relative who will listen.

your local health department may have a mental health clinic. look in the phone book they have a teen hot line. ask them about help and services. whatever you tell your counselor at school may not be confidential.
