It's a common condition and nothing to desperately worry about.
Retinal drusen aka/or Colloid bodies of retina
It's slightly complicated because different authorities and textbooks are not quite in harmony on their usage of the term.
(And Drusen of the optic disc are a totally separate issue)
Apart from a small number of people who display quite marked colloid bodies at young age as an inherited disorder, this is a slow aging change, connected in the long (often very long) term with dry macular degeneration.
I've seen people who've had retinal drusen for forty years and still have 20/20 acuity.
Anyone with retinal colloid bodies/drusen is advised to...
Have normal regular eye checks.
Keep a good diet especially including dark-leafed vegetables. (if hated, there are pills that deliver the same particular anti-oxidants)
Avoid extreme exposure to UV and IR radiation.
Be familiar with the warning signs of *wet* age related maculopathy, which can come on quickly, and require prompt treatment.
(not that different to best practice for everyone!)
Currently, beyond the above, dry AMD and its distant precursor, drusen, require no special treatment or intervention.

I actually think it could go either way. I personally have answered a lot of the questions and I am fairly new to Yahoo Answers so I don't know if there are normally this many questions, but, I seem to clink on them right away because I well remember how it was when my son was in severe agony and i was searching so hard for answers. In my son's case his reflux was very severe, but silent. He didn't actually spit up that much, but you could hear it come up to the back of his throat. His refluxing his milk led to much worse problems such as sleep apnea, so it can be serious, yet taking the needed medication even if a baby doesn't have reflux is not normally of any adverse effect, so if it is being over diagnosed, I don't think it is being done in a dangerous way, perhaps doctors are just more aware of it now and on the look out. My son ended up having testing that showed the reflux, so we know without a doubt that is what he has, he also went through testing that showed he had a milk/soy allergy. In our case, our doctor wasn't quick to diagnose his reflux and we had to push to see a specialist and get the needed treatment for him. In either case, I think people are quick to assume either way. Someone on here can not tell a parent their baby doesn't have reflux any more than they can tell them they do. All we can do is perhaps point them in the right direction just in case. I honestly think those that haven't been there with a baby that severely in pain, don't know how it truly is. A good rule of thumb is DON'T ever assume anything until you have walked a mile in the other person's shoes.

You should start taking Preservision of Ocuvite to help your eyes. Also you should have annual Retinal exams and Photos, just to check if there is any progression. Also if you could print out an Amsler grid
www.pxe.org/amsler.html
and if there is a change make an appointment immediately

I have heard of sensational improvements with ocular diseases with StemEnhance .... a natural stem cell inducer..
StemEnhance™ is a breakthrough, natural botanical extract that supports wellness by inducing the body's bone marrow to naturally increase production/release of stem cells. It is the very first product on the market from the latest phytoceutical product category called “stem cell enhancers”. Recent scientific developments have revealed that stem cells derived from bone marrow travel through the body, and act to support optimal organ and tissue function.
Stem cell enhancers are products that support the natural role of adult cells. As you age, the number and quality of stem cells that circulate in your body gradually decrease, leaving your body more susceptible to injury and other age-related health challenges. Just as antioxidants are important to protect your cells from “free radical” damage, stem cell enhancers are equally important to support your stem cells in maintaining proper organ and tissue functioning in your body.
Adult stem cells are predominantly formed in the bone marrow. and can literally change into any type of cell in the body throughout life. Adult stem cells are released from the bone marrow into the circulation of the bloodstream to seek out problem areas, then renew and restore those areas.
StemEnhance™ is a blend of two compounds extracted from an aqua botanical (water plant) called AFA. One extract supports the release of stem cells and the other supports the migration of stem cells out of the blood into the tissues. The National Institute of Health has recently stated that Cardio-Vascular health is measured by the number of Stem Cells circulating in the blood. One Gram of StemEnhance™ equals 2 capsules which triggers 25-30% or 3.5 million additional circulating stem cells according to research.Traditional health supplements nourish existing cells. They do not create new cells . Science has just recently discovered that the only system known that actually rebuilds the body is your own adult stem cells. Adult Stem Cells…. Rebuild, Renew and Rejuvenate.
