You are absolutely right. Words have tremendous power however thoughts are even stronger especially when accompanied by feelings.
The human being is a power generating entity however we have been taught to think and believe otherwise.
I’m conscious of my thoughts, feelings and words though I’m not always able to keep back some sarcastic comments here and there but I’m getting this under control as well.
Thank you for the reminder I’m about to meet with friends who haven’t been honest lately and I’ve been quite agitated about the meeting. Your question came as a red flag to my ‘war’ frame of mind.

I prefer positives, but it is so easy to get pulled in to the negatives. We did an experiment a few years back in a group I was in.. So much gossip and so much ugliness. As the board, we decided that we were only going to speak in positives. No matter what anyone else said, we would reply positive. Within 3 months (meetings were twice a month) there was a huge turn around in attitudes in the members of the group and the group started to grow! It was amazing and a delight to be a part of!!

I don't like discord of anykind but especially not between family or friends.
