my daughter wants to have a part time job, and she told me she wanted to be a stripper. she said she'll just do it to raise some money and cause she really wants to try it. i talked to her about it and im thinking of allowing her, seeing as there's no harm in it. but the only problem is she's too afraid to ask her dad. she wants me to tell him what she's doing. how do i talk to my husband about it? how do i tell him that our daughter wants to dance nude?

i think theres no harm in doing it aslong as she is supported and doesnt get into the drugs or prostitution that sometimes is linked with this.
tell him she has her own life and he musnt stop her tryin new things he must support her otherwise she cud end up looking to mke quick money elsewhere such as prostitution

First off most strip joints wont hire girls under 18. At 18 she's an adult. And most that get into stripping get sucked into the money (if its a popular club) and into the stripper life which often involves drugs (statics dont lie) and many never leave until they are considered "to old". If she's under 18 then hell no you better parent that child. YOU shouldnt have to mention nothing to your husband if she is grown enough to want to shake her *** for a dollar she better be grown enough to tell her dad.

Furthermore she can get a regular job instead of shaking her ***. If she uses the excuse she cant, then she's not trying. Personally I'd rather give my daughter money then let her degrade herself. Might as well let her be a hooker

Well I've been going through this same situation myself. My sister wants to become a stripper as well. You say you don't see any harm in it but there is. You daughter has to be mentally prepared to be down graded. Men are going to look at her as she is nothing and she says she just wants to do it part-time but once money starts rolling in she's going to want to do it full-time. Has she ever thought of just being a waitress at a strip club? They get paid just as good and they keep there clothes on. I recently did a survey and 75% of males say they rather giver there money to the waitress then the accual stripper. I've done a lot of looking into this because I thought about once myself, but now I have a wonderful paying job thats strictly laget to my well being.

You mustn't let her be a stripper. It will ruin her reputation. Guys will be shoving notes up her *** and ****(no offence). Men that are very horny don't know the difference between hoe and stripper so you can't let her. Men will rape her and use her regularly. She also may turn into a porn star on the net . Hell no! I hate to generalize or put people in a box, but there is a certain lifestyle that goes along with that job. Where there's strippers, there is prostitution and drugs. Anyone who tells you they are just doing it for the money are full of it. Ok, I'm sure there are a hand full, but why even put yourself in that situation.

My opinion is your daughter is reaching out to you emotionally. Give her a little tough love and let her know you have too much respect for her to let her do that.

I'm guessing she' doesn't really know what it means. Stippers don't just dance on the stage taking off clothes for money. They also take turns working the floor for lap dances.
