I had dry sex with my boyfriend... does this mean we had sex?? I'm confused. I think it's closer to heavy petting and touching, but not really sex. Am I right?

Yeah, we did it with our clothes on.

What you did with clothes on is heavy petting ok? It issomething that kinda happens a lot when making out and is more making out than anything else. It is not intercourse so not considered sex. By clothes do you mean just undies on or fully clothed? If you decide to do it without clothing it is much more intense, intimate, and enjoyable but there is a risk of transmitting disease or possible pregnancy if the boys *** gets beyond your lips. the boy jsut rubbing his penis against you there can transmit a disease. If you are gonna do it without clothes make sure the boy wears a condom. Also soing it without clothes often leads to actual intercourse. I have had several friends that lost thier virignity while engaging in that. One ended up pregnant from the encounter.

If you still had clothes on then it was just heavy petting if not and he penetrated inside of you then you had sex

I think it is perfectly normal. Physically speaking, it is "healthier" than actually having intercourse. By that I mean that you are avoiding the dangers of STDs and pregnancy. Psychologically speaking, it is only human to feel sexually attracted to someone else and to have the desire to be sexual with that person. So there is nothing strange or unhealthy about having these feelings and mutually agreeing to act on them in a way that you are both comfortable with.

Sex is Sex-there's nothing "dry" about it! There must be penetration to consuder it actual sex. But hey, dry sex can be just as fun and a good way to getr things started-

You didn't have sex unless he stuck it inside of you but if you two were rubbing your you-know-whats against each other with no underwear you can get an std. You won't get pregnant though.

That was just heavy petting / grinding. Until it "goes in" you're still technically a virgin.

If you didn't have clothing on and you were dry humping, it's not really sex. HOWEVER, you can still get pregnant. You can still get diseases!
