I need a thank you gift for a female attorney friend who represented me in two cases, which we won. Nothing seems to say thank you enough. I worked with her for 6 years. I was employed by another partner. The whole staff was close and we seemed to be the family away from home. Since then everyone has went their own way but I have been in touch with her because of these cases and her niece is a friend of mine. The attorney is on her way to retirement by the end of the year. What could possibly say thank you enough?

♥ I thank you card is a wonderful gesture [[because it shows you took the time out to handwrite her something]]. Maybe a gift certificate, or a dinner for you & her... or browse www.findgifts.com . I use the website often because they have such great ideas! :-) Good Luck!

Ok, I could help with ideas, but I dont know how much money you intend to spend on her. Flowers are always nice, you can couple that with a Vermont Teddy Bear. The Vermont Teddy Bears are collectables and are quite expensive. Just about everyone knows that and she wont think you got a crappy gift for her. Some jewlery maybe if you are really friendly with her. If you let me know how much you would like to spend, I would be happy to help you come up with ideas. The point is, she is not expecting anything, so get her something that represents you. Good luck hun.

What are her hobbies? I would suggest tapping into some of the personal knowledge you have on her to help determine what she might like.
My first thought was a Monte Blanc pen though. It's rather expensive though. It all depends on what you want to spend too.
What about a nice bottle of wine? Or a wine gift basket?

Check a site for Wine Country Gift Baskets. They feature baskets for every occasion with or without wine. I have used them for years and everyone is always impressed with the quality.

I would get her a very nice arrangement of flowers and also send her a hand-written note expressing your gratitude. While you have a friendly, cordial relationship with her, I don't think I would want to give her anything too personal. I think she would appreciate the flowers to brighten her office - and the note will tell you how much you appreciated her help.
