Or are there things beyond his control?

Everything happens without gods permission. If everything required god's permission then nothing would be a sin, because god gave the okay for it to happen. Religion is so silly and contradictory. It's amazing people actually believe it.

"Lugh"
Greetings Great Wizard,

Curious You Should Ask...
Whatever Happened To Human's "Greed" - At least That's What Will Have Been Chosen As "Best Answer ( at Present in Voting)
Not Simply F.C's Profile, But Your Own & Others.
Unbeknown to You, Perhaps, Me Had The "Permission"
To Make You Part Of A "Grand Theatre".
How Much Do We Control On This Planet Gandalf? And Why ?

Let meIllustrate in Order To Try As best As Possible To Answer in Our Area Of Control:
Today Is Monday the @0th Of August 2007
A Local Newspaper, Doing ITS Job, Reports:

"Pr. George's Hopes Mass Vaccinations Will Pay Off
( the state mandate requirements students in grade six through 10 to receive shots for [CHICKENpox] and hepatitis B)"
What If Me Tell You Gandalf, That This so-called Measure Has been Contested By Other Scientists - so often IT is "Beyond
Control" Not One Of Them Has Been Able To Implement Their
"Modest" Health Alternatives. But Then, Gandalf, What If We All Knew That The People In Charge Of "Mass Vaccinations"
Are Men & Women Who Have Never Ceased To "Repeat The
Fiasco" Of Their "Birthing History" - i.e. The Lack Of Respect
And Ultimate Spent-Health They "Lent" Their "Maimed" Bodies...

Who Gave Them "permission" Over Other Scientists, Not Concerned By Neither Shame nor Greed - To Decide What IS Best For Our Children's Immunity At Present ?

Well, Gandalf, me Listen To Others Also - That, At Least, IS Not Beyond Our Control, & 'G's Permission', so:
At Around 11.30 a.m. on a D.C. Radio ( All Different The Stations, But Me Listens To Most Of Them), Well, on this 88,smnthng ?, A Wise Lady, Diane Rhyme (or Rime ?) Spoke To Illuminating Scientists - The Information Was Worthwhile,
and Focused On HEALTH. And "Health" Alone.
It Wasn't Just 'black and white', so to speak, in this Instance One could learn about "NUances", such as The Difference Between What Makes One "Strong" and ...'Whatever', weak & Greedy.
Do You Know Gandalf there are varieties of Vitamin D ?
Some come from Plants, others from Animals...
Who Gave us Permission To Wipe Them Out ?
Certainly, Not "G".

Who Gave The "Greedy" Permission To Make "G's Gift" Beyond Our Control ?

Nothing is beyond His ABILITY TO CONTROL.

He gave us free choice, but commands we obey him freely, instead of controlling us like a puppet master.

In heaven we will not have the choice of good OR evil. This sin-cursed world tests our willingness to live that way, with him, for all eternity.

In the garden, mankind was curious about evil, because they had no knowledge of sin. They thought they wanted to know evil, as well as good.

I think Eve felt deprived, and even bored, because God commanded that we just experience good.

Having experience the "hell" of life on earth, we will not feel deprived in heaven by a boring absence of bad stuff. We understand that God was looking out for our best interests!

I guess we have to distinguish between His perfect will and his "permissive" will.

It's like a father on earth with the power to spank, but an intent to allow us some leeway within reason, to test us, and teach us.

God could control us, but without freedom we are not really human...we'd just be robots. He chooses not to enforce that level of control.

It depends on what you mean by persmission.

GOD gives us free choice so we do things that GOD does not want us to do.. but in the fact that he gave us free choice.. its implied permission.. I guess.

Depends on how you look at it.

If you are a christian.. nothing can happen to you without GODs permission.. that is his protection for you.

See Job where satan had to ask permission to harm him

Everything happens with God's permission... God isn't there to give permission today just as and he wasn't around to create the past yesterday or ever.

anything happen with God permission. however, when he forbid something on himself, he will follow what he said on Himself.

for example, God wrote on himself that he will forgive, and or He will have mercy:
[12] .... He has prescribed Mercy for Himself......

He had no control over his minions, so I doubt he has control over much anything else.
