There is a way of living, of having one's being that does not depend on outside pressure to motivate and direct it. It is a way of life that springs from a source within you as the direct result of a proper relationship with God.
The life energy that wells up in you through this relationship does not come wrapped in words or feelings; rather, it rises naturally and effortlessly out of a deep understanding, a state of readiness to recognize and accept the guidance of Truth in every moment. In short, it is the meditative state of consciousness
Why can't we seem to hang on to this blessed state of consciousness ?
You surely know the answer: it is the pride we inherited from Adam as the result of his choice to be his own God, apart from his Creator. eternal life and energy and transfer our allegiance to the seductive spirit of the world that has claimed us.
The question is, Are we ready to break free from the lies and the entity that enslaved us or are we drowned in the comfort zone; too weak to rise from our stupor in our La-la-land?

Amen, I agree.
Many people are living in la-la land deceiving & being deceived by the prince of this world.

We all need to come back to our roots, in a living relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior & Lord. And Yes, Pride is a very subtle thing.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 4:7, "What do you have that you have not received?" When we realize that all that we have, our bodies, intellect, health, wealth, is a gift from God, that would keep us humble & help us to live with the life energy that wells up within us.

OOooo. I believe that you hit something with the thing about pride limiting our consciousness of the world (though I also believe that pride is a natural result of being forced to view the world from a first-person perspective. We cannot expect to be anything but self-centered when we only can experience our world through that self).

I agree with John F.

You post these "What say you all" "questions" all the time, and I've never been able to see any point to them other than that you love running your mouth.

"When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward."

I'd say that that is a nonobjective analysis based on your personel beliefs with no evidence or foundation in reality. In other words: nice thought, but not true.
