If you ask me, these days, it's Islam. Just look at some answers here. "Islam is the one true religion"

You call that tolerant. Before I get bashed by muslims, I want to point out that Christianity has had its fair share of being intolerent but recently they've stopped. Muslims however seem intent on proving that other religions are fake and only their's is true.

All religion should be scrapped. Believing in God is futile. The dark side will consume all.

the sad thing is all religions think there way is the true way - well they can't all be right.

if there really was a god he wouldn't have allowed this confusion and misery - isn't he supposed to love everyone.

if god was a human he would be had up for abuse and his children taken from him - maybe there's a clue in this statement about whether or not he is worth any ones effort

I think all religions are intolerant, yes some are more extreme than others but I don't think any should be singled out as better or worse than the other. What always amuses me is the arrogance of all these people who believe their religion is the true one - were there any actual proof for any of this superstitious nonsense, I would be the first to convert but all I see in religion is their hypocritical preachings, self-righteous arrogance, hatred and intolerance of anyone who believes something different. I believe we would be better human beings without religion and hope that one day we will be enlightened enough without being divided over ridiculous fairy tales.

I'm a christian and i'm sorry to say that christians can often times be intolerant and judgemental. We do not have that right.

But i don't think that having an opinion on something makes a person intolerant. People are often labelled intolerant simply because they disagree with something or somebody. Thats not fair either.

Anyways, I don't think any one religion can take the cake on this one. Even non-religious people can be intolerant. I think it's a sad fact of human nature. So often we desire to be right when in fact we should be desiring to live at peace and share Gods love with one another.

All religions teach that theirs is the true path to God. The intolerance part comes when followers of one religion feel the need to force their own fellow believers or non-believers to follow their interpretation of the religion. Killings are the most cruel examples of intolerance. It is true believers of one religion have killed the non-believers but I know of no religion that tells its followers to kill because of the other person's beliefs except in Islam. Not only that, it promises rich rewards for those who do so. In fact, in Islam the only sure way to paradise is either by getting killed or killing in the "cause of Allah". This explains the terrorism seen today. I'm sorry to say this. For more information click on the link below.

God is the head of most religions. Islam, Christianity, Jewish. All other "heads" are of late or started by mankind. But those that believe in these religions are content in that. The American Indian worshipped a Great Spirit. All answers given seem to be correct as far as everyone else's beliefs. The God I believe in, is a God who loves and listens. He is tolerant of far more than the human mind can conceive.

In short....to answer the question....all that say their religion is intollerant, are trying to promote themselves. Promote God and you will find the peace you crave.

I don't think there are intolerant religions, just intolerant people. Your example of Islam is just example of a peaceful, tolerant religion which is misinterpreted (either deliberately or through ignorance) by certain people.

The same can be said for every other religion under the sun - it's all about the individuals...

Oooh it incredibly is a no longer subject-free-y. I say Christianity or Islam because of fact the different strategies they are in a position to be interpreted and performed creates an obnoxious volume of intolerance. even nevertheless it relies upon on the way you pass approximately it.

Religion is worse than science in it speculative efforts to satisfy the human ego.

There is no precept of religion or science that comprehends or properly explains Reality-- which is things as they were, as they are, and as they are to come. Science is a type of religion, just as religion is a type of science, wherein the mystery of life remains a mystery to those you don't understand it, but pretend to.

People should simply do unto others as they would have others do unto them, or in modern terms, treat other people as you would have them treat you.

The world would be a much happier place, there would be NO dark side.

Do Unto Others -- Be Happy :-)

Christians get on with their life so don't even bring it up, we worship and do what we need to do and if someone says something about our religion we do not solve it by violence.

I can see you obviously don't believe, wow i feel sorry for you, if you don't believe just keep it to yourself. There is no need to offend others, it's ok to have your say and yea of course an opinion but you have no right to judge others or anyones beliefs.

If something is not compulsory then why care, because you have already chosen not to believe, so stop complaining, like it really bothers you. No ones stopping you from avoiding it, that's what i don't get.
