The USB connector is technically the same but the functionality served is different. Access to the phone's file system via USB requires expensive, proprietary software from Motorola. Your better bet is to connect to the phone via Bluetooth, which requires only standard Bluetooth file exchange software. This will let you drop pictures and MP3s onto your Motorola phone, which means free wallpapers and ringtones.

i use phonezoo and its amazing.. you can make your own ringtone and everything. no money charged..you just have to have texting because thats the way it sends it to you. and the only bad part..the ringtones can only be 20 secs long.

I've tried it before...it's not going to be compatiable...you have to get one for the phone
