Nope. I would hope they would do what I told them out of love, but if they refuse and prefer living separated from my presence, I would grant them what they wanted (assuming they had reached adulthood). Which is exactly what God does to those who reject His merciful offer of salvation. He doesn't force any to follow Him, but rather appeals to their free will. Yet a necessary consequence for those who reject Him out of pride (for thinking they don't need Him) and/or arrogance (for thinking they had the moral authority to judge Him) is the self-recriminations that follow the realization when they finally stand before Him of how wrong they were and how much they have lost.

My children know the way they should go,it is up to them to decide which path they will live..I have to work out my own salvation with fear and trembling, I can't look to others and try to save them lest I fall..If you look around at others faults all the time, you will never see your own salvation, you are as important as another...

Gods ways are smarter than ours. He knows what's right, and even if you don't agree now due to living in a body and mind of sin, you'll agree when you see Him (in heaven if you believe in Jesus, or on your way to hell if you reject Jesus to your dying breath)
