If there is a Catholic whose answers you enjoy and find informative, someone who consistently gives proper Church teaching.... Now is your chance to list his or her name and give a brief explanation of why you chose this person.
I thought this would be a wonderful way to encourage our brothers and sisters, letting them know how much we appreciate them in this forum.
PLEASE STAR this question so that all of our fellow Catholics can find it, and those whom you honor will most likely see it.

There are so many on here who give such thorough and informative answers...people who really know their stuff. I know that I will end up leaving out some names. But I would like to list the people whose answers have been most impressive and enjoyable to me.
*Robert, Nardhelain, Evolver, Wolfeblayde, Isabella, Veritas, Cashelmara, Void Engineer, Jack, Daver, Spiritroaming, President of the JP II Fan Club, Granny of 5*
Thank you all for your splendid contributions! God bless!

I would like to add the following:
If someone's name isn't mentioned, that does NOT mean the person isn't appreciated, or that his/her answers are not good. I appreciate, love and respect all of my fellow Catholics in this forum.
The point of this is to pay special tribute to those whose answers may have made a big impression on you, or from whom you might have learned a thing or two.

Oh Granny the same happened with me, I'm so glad you mentioned tur b!
tur b, I'm sorry, as I had every intention of listing you with the others. I did recently publically acknowledge your questions and answers, in an answer to one of your questions. However, when it came to acknowledging you here, I completely forgot. I should've made a written list beforehand!

I am so glad you posted this! I cannot tell you how many times I've been grateful to see answers from my fellow Catholics when the going gets tough around here ... it can be very trying at times to patiently respond to the same questions over, and over, and over, in a way that honors Christ. The support from each other is so encouraging.
I have learned a great deal from so many of you, and I thank God for you daily. What a blessing to be able to say "thanks" publically, for just being there, to (among others):
Arnon, everydaycatholic, delsydebothom, Julia Encarnacion, James O, Daver, rp, redneckgirl, imacatholic2, The Carmelite, Granny Annie, chekeir, midge, nardehelain, Danny H, spiritroaming, misty0408, DougLawrence, Faustina (formerly President of the JPII Fan Club!), mommy_to_seven, Wolfblayde, chrisgaffrey, Solarius, Kevin B, patrone07, Augustine, Meg M ... and yourself, of course.
I'd also like to mention two we have not seen recently: MaxMarie SFO and Debra M.
Blessings and all good to you, my brothers and sisters.
[Edit] Oh, my, I had a feeling this would happen ... leaving someone out who has had a positive impact on me ... tur b, thank you.
[Edit again] Sigh. Hormone deprivation is affecting my brain again. Void Engineer ... definitely you, also.
[Edit the third] Robert, I have had to block "fans" for the time being, which also unfortunately took me off everyone's contact list ... e-mail and I'll explain. (Raven, last edit -- I promise!)

anybody have the desire to make a small wager that the superb answer is going to the guy who says, "those naughty, naughty Catholics! Why, did you realize that they not at all study their Bibles, and that they worship Mary, and that they think of the Pope is extra important than God"? suitable now, there is one individual in specific whose bunch of bilge and bushwa is a warm contender for BA. there is not any ingredient in any human beings Catholics attempting to describe our ideals to you considering the fact which you're no longer likely to hearken to. maximum folk have, at one ingredient or the different, instructed you that we worship the only residing and authentic God, no longer statues or something. maximum folk have additionally mentioned that the association of the ten Commandments replaced into arbitrary and varies from translation to translation. And final, yet no longer least, we've defined that a Saint with a capital S is a individual who led a life-time of super love and have confidence in God. that doesn't propose that anybody else who died in God's friendship isn't additionally a saint. yet all those reasons fall on deaf ears. you have have been given your innovations made up, and there is not any ingredient in puzzling you with data.

I think that our overall answers reflecting the Love that God has for us and avoiding judging other people's souls has a positive influence on those considering Christianity.
It is hard to keep our cool at times with some of the questions asked, but we have to realize that other groups also get hurtful questions. How we handle those times is our witness to the truth of Jesus and the Catholic Church that he started.
Good luck, keep the faith, and may God bless you and your families!
Peace!

Greetings Raven. Thank you for your honors. Being a Catholic Christian is tough as it is, be it on the internet or in real life. I think it is really important for us to realize that we are not alone when it comes to living the faith. You mentioned many of the people I was going to list. I personally enjoy Faustina's, Granny of 5's, Brandon's, and your answers the most.
The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Tur b, TheRaven, Grannyof5, Meg, and many other Catholics give dignified but spirited answers. They deal well with Catholic bashers and get their point across without being rude.
I know God is going to bless them for their great hearts and loving spirits!
Edit:
And everyone who's given such terrific answers to an equally terrific question. . .you are ALL great representatives of our Catholic faith!

There are several, too many to remember their names, I think consistency and truth beat ignorance any day. I do enjoy the forum, even though at times it can get rather frustrating. I can't pin down one person since I usually enjoy the majority of truth driven, Gospel founded, Church based answers.
God bless and good luck getting a list together.

Dear in Christ,
Why we are divided as Catholics, Protestants, JWs and so on. Is it not the same Christ who died for all of us! Paul asked: Is Christ divided?
Jesus told that the world has to know by the love that we have for one another!
I am doctrinally different from 99.9999% Christians, but if I cannot love my Christian Brother what is the big deal about my doctrine.
Our life and character should ADORN THE DOCTRINE OF GOD!
Jesus Loves You, So do I,
tomsan

Thanks for thinking of me! I'm about thirteen shades of red. :)
I'd also like to thank everyone that's been mentioned here. All of you produce knowledgeable, insightful answers; I've learned something from everyone whose answers I've been privileged to read. I'm a relative newcomer to the R&S section. I'm very glad you asked a question like this, Raven, because now I can add all of the brilliant Catholics I haven't yet seen on the board to my contacts. Great idea!

In my opinion any and every of my fellow Catholics who are knowledgeable when it comes to Catholicism are a-okay in my book. I must say that it's been pretty pleasant for me to see the answers of my fellow Catholics then it is to see the answers of our Protestant brethren. I admit that I'm new to the religion but so far I like the way my fellow Catholics go about answering questions.
