Considering something like 40% of US homes have guns in them there is no opposite direction. They are everywhere. How about asking him to take you to the range and make that irrational fear go away.

Oh my gosh. The responses to this are ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with a man having interest in firearms! If he's taken classes, gotten permits and goes to a shooting range, it's perfectly innocent! Why on earth should you back away? It's the same as going to a gym and punching a bag!

have you ever tried to tell him rapidly which you're actually not fascinated. each so often ignoring somebody could be construed as enjoying not hassle-free to get. If he does not decrease back off or say that he will on no account bypass away you on my own. overlook approximately him and get authority parent in touch. This includes instructor, crucial, or possibly a restraining order against him. What he did is harassment.

If you don't like firearms, then you should run away. Personally, guns scare me so that would be a turn off for me. But some people like shooting things. It doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong.

not really. Unless the things he enjoys shooting are living, breathing things. Everyone releases stress differently, as long as he's not trying ot shoot you or anyone else don't worry about it.

It could be. Or it could just be he has a genuine interest in firearms. Many people do. If he's doing it to relieve stress, that would bother me, though.

I don't think so. I like guns. I have three. But, it doesn't mean I am going to go start blasting people. Those type of people are the exception just like how the majority of people who might drink liquor aren't alcoholics, but the one's that are give everyone a bad rap.

That's his hobby... If he says he likes shooting people, then yeah.
I have a dangerous hobby as well, I practice Muay Thai Kickboxing, but that doesn't mean I'll hit a person.
If you truly despise guns, then yeah, don't deal with him. But if you're okay with them, then it shouldn't matter to you.

some people collect things. and men tend to like guns.
as long as he's not a mass murderer and doesn't make it a part of his hobby to shoot PEOPLE, then i don't think you'd have much to worry about?

It's not necessarily a bad thing. Pay attention to it though and if he's more into it than you are comfortable with, move on.
