Can I recycle the plastic jewel case or just throw it out?

Rigid plastic is fairly easy to recycle; our local council collect it.

I have also found they can be re-used as very good leaflet display stands.
ie for events, print flyers to CD insert size. then trim the tabs on the side of the case a few millimetres, so that the top folds back slightly more than the normal 180; and you have a quite stylish display small enough for local shops etc to put out on their sales counter.
Alternativly print 12 pictures & sell as calendars for fund-raising.

Check out this environmentally friendly cd replication company. You can donate your jewel cases to them.

We must throw everything out. Pollute as much as possible and make this planet inhabitable for humans.
