I was told by a breeder. She breeds different types of dogs too. I have two Manchesters, weighing 10&15 lbs and a
little Chihuahua, weighing 3 lbs. They don't mean to play ruff. It like play biting. When the Chihuahuaruns, the Manchesters chases her, she stops and they run her down, just because of her stopping. They don't mean to do that. I don't leave her alone in the house, without putting her in a cage for protection. They could get to ruff and not really mean it, because of the weight difference.

Just watch them when they play and after awhile they will sort out who the top dog is. also when they get rough with each other correct them by saying STOP and NO or clapping loudly. This will distract them from their roughhousing. Manchester's are much more aggressive than the chi's and you may even be adding to the problem by separating them. Good Luck.
