I would consider myself the biggest loser in my first marriage. I married him because I found myself pregnant and my parents and his pressured us to "do the right thing" From the start he was always angry at and the world. It just that i was smaller and easier to hit. I tried for 5 years to make it work even after my daughter died at the age of 23 months. I kept quiet and made myself small so he wouldn't notice me as a way to keep from being beaten. I hid my bruises as if they were my same. Then one day a guy from work took me aside and told me I deserved better and if he didn't see me looking for it he would find it for me. That was it. I stopped hiding the bruises and started defending myself. I found a wonderful support group. They showed me that I was someone worth while and that I deserved respect.

Today I have the most wonderful man in my life. Together we are raising 2 beautiful children. and I am not the biggest loser any more.
