for me- not letting my brother's friend kiss me because I was afraid of what it would do to their relationship. what an idiot I was!

Breaking up with this kid before he went to college. i should have just finished up the summer with him...he was sooo hott, i should have hooked up with him while i had the chance.

I'm somewhat glad I didn't because she ended up being a psycho, but I wished I had at the time... Here's the story.
I was a junior in high school. I decided to go on a trip to Spain sponsored and run by my high school. During the trip, I met and got close to a girl from my high school, whom I hadn't known prior to the trip. We spent a LOT of time together during the trip. She even once blurted out "Oh my gosh, you have to marry me!" because we were having such a good time. The last night of the trip, I got back to my room and fell asleep. The next day, she was real quiet. I asked why, and she asked "You're not mad at me?" I had no idea what she was talking about. Supposedly, she had called me and wanted me to go up to her room and see her because she was alone. Lo and behold, I had a phone conversation with her while asleep! She said all I said was "mhmm". Over and over, to all of her questions. Figuring that I had no interest in her, she just hung up.

Oh my god. Far too many--the regret is not worth it! ;) Actually, I was thinking of one this morning that WAS a good decision. I could've hooked up w/one of my best friend's boyfriends. We both opted against it...for the right reasons. Eventually, they broke up, but were together for 2 more years after that so I'm glad I didn't do it. Could've hooked up with one of the hottest men I've ever, ever seen once but was trying to move from the "random hookup" stage of my life into something more serious. My friend still tells me that was one of the stupidest mistakes I've ever made. "Uh, did you SEE him?" she always says. Oops! :)

There's one or two of those, but as many, "DAMN, what was I thinking?!" that barely happened.
