If it is doing that you need to call your doctor, this medication is not for you. There are others you can take instead.

This is because adderall works on the "pleasure center" in your brain. In a way it makes you feel good. When you go off adderall, the "feel good" chemicals go down and make you moody and/or depressed. This should only last no longer than 1 or 2 weeks but if it last's longer I would see the doctor about possibly continuing your medication or switching to a different one...

I am not sure if you have heard about the Columbine shootings, but these kids where also on such medications, and it is believed that the drugs where a big part of what happened. These drugs tell the body to do something it doesn't want to do. adderall is an amphetamine, and I am not sure if you are aware, but people that use METH, the street drug, it has basically the same effect on the body over a longer period of time. If you are wanting to wean off of it ( this is what I would suggest) it is probably going to be hard at first. I would suggest that you do a cleanse of the body, this will help you wean off of the drug, and also help to put your body back into alignment, feasably making the prolem a non issue.
Check out my blog page, it is about natural health and I have my cleansing on here as well, it may help you.
Good luck to you!

Be careful of what others have said. All of the drugs used to treat ADD/ADHD, bipolar, etc. such as Adderall has documented information that correlates suicidal tendencies when treatment stops.
This is one of the best known side effects and is responsible for EVERY SHOOTING IN SCHOOLS BY TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS.
The side effect is part of the withdrawl from the drug.
It may be time to find out what your body is missing instead of attempting to mask symptoms with drugs that all have side effects.
Question for you. Have you had all of your childhood immunizations? Every child I have treated over the past 9 years that was on Adderall, Ritalin, Stratera and others in this category have ALL been immunized. Yet children I see without having had their shots have never had to be on these drugs. Interesting correlation wouldn't you agree?

No Dr Tom I would not agree to your analysis. You are trying to link vaccinations with behaviour problems. You only muddy the waters by throwing out such biased information. For the sake of honesty, be more careful.

that's not common especially if you're taking adderall xr. it could be that your dosage is to high or this med is just not for you. you need to call your doc.
