HI Devika,
You are in class 9 standart & you want to be a Aerospace Engineering. So the first thing is to result well in ur 10 class(at least above 80%) in ur CBSE,ICSC,or WB and then u have to choose the scince stream. Then in 10+2 examination again u have to result well in ur CBSC,ICSC or WB(at least 80%).This is my suggesion to u and ur combinaton in 10+2 must be Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry and other subjects. I think u u get ur answer. BEST OF LUCK. ------RONNIE(software engg).

You're going to want to take a lot of physics and a lot of calculus, as this is a huge part of any mechanically inclined engineering discipline. You will probably also need to take chemistry, as this plays a large role in many engineering fields as well. Also, other lab based sciences will help you get into a good engineering school, such as bio, and other math courses might help. Realize you don't need to do this all right NOW, because you're only in 9th class, but by the time you graduate you should have taken these courses.

These are expected to be taken in highschool by all college's. Algebra 1 & 2 Geometry Trigonometry Pre-Calc is highly recommended and increases your chances of getting into engineering school and pass your first college Calc class. In College, you will take Calculus 1 & 2, Linear Algebra, Matrices, and Differential Equations. Most other courses are indirect math courses. Physics and Chemistry involves lots of math, as well as Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, and other courses you will probebly take.

If you are talking about the undergraduate, then you need to give sat subject test in maths level 1 or 2 , and in one of the sciences i.e for your case physics. But you do not need to declare your major until second year. I hope that helps:)
