There are almost 34,000 responses, a lot of them quite lengthy. Almost all of the votes are for responses on the first page, with the most apparently received by answer 5. However, the question is in a tie breaker vote, so there must be some other answers out there with a large block of votes.

I've been through quite a few pages and come up with nothing. Does anyone know of any answers that aren't on the first couple of dozen pages that are getting a significant number of votes?

Someone with the name berickf won with 23 votes.

How he managed to get 23 votes I cannot imagine.

His answer was nothing more than politically correct boiler plate.

In second place was George with 22 votes. That was only one vote less than berickf received.

George was also one of the top rated responders at number 21 out of over 34,000 responses.

When you rank the responders highest to lowest George was on the first page and easy to find..

I had voted for George, even though I did not agree with everything he said.

George pointed out that coal is contaminated with Uranium and Thorium and burning coal releases more Uranium and Thorium to the environment than nuclear power plants.

George's point was that coal fired plants should be replaced with nuclear power plants.

Personally I think coal fired plants ought to be replaced with wind turbines, but I thought that George did a good job on his analysis of the problem with coal.

I also know we have a large contingent of people who like nuclear power plants so it does not surprise me that George would rack up a large number of votes from that contingent.

What did surprise me is the number of votes that Berickf received.

Berickf was nowhere to be found. How people could even find his answer to vote for it is beyond me.

Why so many people would vote for his answer over some of the other answers which I thought were much better is also beyond me.

It also amazed me that he beat out George by only one vote.

That was a close vote.

I scanned the first 3-4 pages, but by the time you get that far, nothing gets more than 30-40 votes. I even looked at some of the last few pages, and they're getting practically no votes. Seems like an interesting idea to ask the question here, but not much value.

I think it's useless to answer those; they're just made by yahoo staff, not Nancy Pelosi, Penelope Cruz, whoever supposedly asked it.

Edit: I just looked through some of the responses...do people actually think Nancy Pelosi is reading that? I voted for answer 5. I'm going to laugh if it gets best answer.

Go with the sort idea. That will be the easiest way when your looking thru 34,000 answers.

Only politicians get that many answers. Ask the same question and see how many answers you get.

Try sorting the answers rated highest to lowest.

I think you've maybe spent too much time worrying about this.

Just my two farthing's worth.
