i just read a little bout him and he is mentally ill. would have to be if he thinks he's doing right.

Okay, I looked him up (as I had not heard of him previously), and was forwarded to a link about him on Wikipedia. And It was apparent to me that he is a sick and very disturbed man before I even finished the first paragraph. I had no reason to read on. I mean, 'thank god for 9/11'? 'aids cures fags'? Now thats just sick. your right, he has to be mentally ill or something.

Anybody who claims to be a minister of a church and spreads hatred has some issues. Not only is Fred sick but so are his followers. If you want to read more about the Phelp's clan, go to www.godhatesamerica.com and see for yourself. These people need help!

Ok, this won't be popular, but I believe Fred Phelps does not close his eyes to the atrocities committed by this country. I believe he see this country apostate, with the name of Christ on their lips, but only to use him to get whatever it may be they want at the time. I believe he tries to wake this country up to the punishment that is due it for having used Christ's name in vain. He must have read the following verses in Revelation.
For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
