What exactly is a 'notebook software'? If you mean a word processor, then AbiWord is the one for you. It has different versions for Windows, Linux and MacOS and has a host of features.

Software is Operating System specific, not hardware specific.
So there's no such thing as "Notebook Software" per se, you want to find DOS, Windows, Mac OS X or Linux programs for your laptop hardware. Word processing, photo editing and web design are some program categories that may be of interest.
