There is one full size window in the bedroom and the walls are colored similar to the bed in the photo's attached. The living room is white and navy blue and the bedroom is right off the living room. I'd like to keep a co-hesive color theme running through the apartment. Which if any of the bedding do you like? Do you have an alternative idea? Important, the apartment will be occupied by my 23 year old son.

Okay, so the feed back has been that the bedding is dull, mind you he has a ver tough exterior, he's a construction worker. How about something like this: http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/ProductsHOM.aspx?DeptID=25436&CatID=51622&CatTyp=DEP&ItemTyp=C&GrpTyp=ENS&ItemID=12cc87d&ProdSeq=6&Cat=teens&Dep=Bed+%2b+Bath&PCat=Bed+in+a+Bag+Sets&PCatID=51617&RefPage=ProductList&Sale=&ProdCount=20&RecPtr=&ShowMenu=&TTYP=&ShopBy=0&RefPageName=CategoryAll%252Easpx&RefCatID=51617&RefDeptID=25436&Page=99&CmCatId=25436|51617|51622

At first I thought that your first choice listed was the least of my favorites, but after reading your description of your son, it actually makes the most sense to me.

It is the most versatile, he can easily change the surrounding decor just by changing some accent colors from time to time if he grows tired of the colors.

I found these accent pillows (which are also very functional), they would add a touch of color that you can bring into the rest of the room in the window treatments, accent rugs, furniture, wall art, etc. Depending on what type of headboard he has, you can always pull some of the color from the pillow onto the wall to balance the room.

To me, they work well because they are not feminine and at the same time speak "comfort". They have a vintage appeal to them which is always nostalgic and cozy to us.

The only one with any punch is the 3rd stripe selection but each of the choices are lacking some pizzazz. At least there is some blue in the striped one. I would look for something with more fun colors. Since the walls and floors are white, have some fun and let it reflect his personality. I'm not sure what part of the living room is navy blue. If you want to be cohesive with the colors throughout you can still do it by adding more color to the bedroom as lots of things play off navy.

Hello.

Out of the three, i'm thinking the second one is the best, the first one is very grandad like. To be totally honest, all of those covers are very dull for a 23 year old, though i know you want the colour theme to run throughout. If the walls and floors are quite plain, it would be nice to have a more striking colour or design. Something a bit more modern looking. Even black would look quite modern, and stand out agaimst the pale colours.

Hope this helps!

A 26 year old male.

All are very nice, but couldn't you use some more color? Red's are nice with cream and white. Punch it up a little.
But if you are set on one of these three, I pick #3. At least it has some blue. But dry different shades of red with and see if that doesn't put some spice in the room.

Definitely go with the last one... No question about it. The blue in it will give you the cohesive theme you're looking for.

I like your first choice - defenitely not dull in my opinion.
#2 and 3 are too busy - you will dislike your choice after a while
