I love my mom's tamales. They are wrapped with banana leaves and have the masa with the a piece of pork, an olive and topped with a red dried chile sauce. Squeeze lime over it and dip french bread in it...yummm. These are popular in Guatemala, they're not very well known around here though.

feuille de manioc. it is popular in central africa.
take cassava leaves (young ones) and pound them until they are all mashed up. boil them for at least 30 minutes, until all the water is boiled out. then in a skillet sautee onions, garlic in oil and peanut butter. add this to the leaves, with a maggi cube and dried smoked fish. serve with rice, cassava root boiled, plantains, or baton de manioc. add piment if you like it spicey.
this is the best food ever.

I like pasta (Linguine Frutti di Mare) , garlic bread dipped in olive oil and grated cheese, and escarole. That is Italian cuisine. I also like American food, British food, and German food. Yum yum yum.

Almost like Baked Ziti but it has a lot of ricotta cheese and meat and very little sauce.

I enjoy roasted Chicken at Dave's Barbecue. I guess it's popular, just about everywhere. lol
