Divorce has nothing to do with your credit score.
As long as you continue to pay all of the debts that your name is on as agreed, there will be no negative effect on your credit.

A divorce is not factored into your credit score. That is a personal matter between you and your soon-to-be ex.
Now, when divorce does come into play with your credit is if you have joint accounts and you both stop paying or something like that. Of course *that* destroys your credit.
One thing to keep in mind is that getting a divorce does not release either one of you from your credit obligations. If you have joint credit cards, car loans or mortgages, you are both still responsible for making payments.
Sorry to hear about your relationship...good luck!

A divorce by itself has NOTHING to do with your credit score.
however, many times people end up with financial issues like foreclosurse, bankruptcy, or serious cc debt.
BUT divorce by itself will not effect you one bit.

be sure to cancell all credit cards that had both your names on them. double triple check about that. also, if you have kids, and one is court ordered to pay certain expenses(for example medical) and fails, the company owed can come after the other parent.
