The other possibility is that you need to align the picture on your monitor using the physical adjustment keys on your monitor.

If you're using an LCD monitor, look for a button called 'auto' on it. That setting will allow the monitor to automatically adjust itself whenever the video resolution changes.
If you have a CRT monitor, you'll probably have to use the buttons on the front of the monitor to adjust the height & width of the video screen so that nothing is cut off and the screen is centered. The monitor should also have a 'save' command which saves the current monitor settings. If you can't find your monitor's manual, then go to the manufacturer's web site.

there can be diffirent reasons behind ur problem.

1. do u have an LCD? I have one, and it also happened to me. the solution was that, there is a AUTO, button in ur LCD front panel, push it 2 to 3 times, and every thing will be fine

2. secondly, if u have a CRT monitor (normal monitor), then what are the resolutions that ur monitor can support? what is the refresh rate that ur monitor support?

make sure, u have selected the correct resolution and refresh rate.

3. try to reinstall ur video card's driver again

4. callibrate option. if u see it any where in ur video cards oprions then use it

You need to change your resolution. Right click on the desktop and go to properties. Click on the Settings tab where you can change your Screen resolution. You may need to move the slider towards more. Hope that helps and good luck!

Go to control panel. Select appearance and personlization. Then select adjust screen resolution, that should give you the option to select how big or small you want your screen.
