Yes. After a series of passionate relationships where we ended up fighting all the time, I thought I would try dating someone who I didn't fancy, hoping that our time together would be more calm. Unfortunately he fancied me and got angrier and angrier that I didn't act passionate towards him, and the fighting took place anyway. I last saw him being hauled away in a police car.
Sometimes men have asked me out and I have told them we can be friends and they have pretended to agree just to stay in my company while they worked on having a relationship with me but this never works either. They try to interrogate you to see what it is they need to have that you want so you will love them and it is hard to say LESS DANDRUFF PLEASE or YOUR BEDROOM SMELLS MOULDY so you just make excuses not to see them a third time. Because what if they cured their dandruff and dried up their bedroom and then expected you would suddenly love them (with the memory of their dandruff and mould still in your mind)? It is handy having a hidden camera on your front verandah so you can avoid them. They think WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE AN EVENING ALONE WATCHING TV WHEN YOU CAN BE IN A RESTAURANT WITH ME? And it is hurtful for them to know that you would do this, so pretending you are not home is a better option. Later when they ask where you were, you have to be imaginative with excuses. I never used I WAS LOOKING AFTER MY SICK AUNTY in case an Aunty got sick and I felt I brought it on her. I know 4 friends/ acquaintances just off the top of my head, who got pregnant to men they didn't fancy and all these instances turned out terribly, with hurt all round. Lucky it was not me, and lucky these women had the emotional fortitude to weather the storm and bring the kids up alone.
Why men keep asking a woman out when she fobs him off for months, mystifies me. Maybe ring her every 6 months at max. One exception for me was that I fell in love with someone I knew for 2 years, after he lost weight, cut his long lanky hair and had it styled and streaked. His entire appearance changed to hardly recognisable and totally handsome. During the 2 years he did not ask me or anyone else out because he had no confidence but now his appearance has changed, he has the ladies chasing him. It is amazing how little effort a man has to put into his grooming for women to favourably notice him.

No. I dont see the point in leading someone on. Its cruel and unneccesary. I have alot of guys who are interested in me (not sounding bigheaded, lol) but I dont give them the time of day. I always so 'sorry Im not interested or I have someone already' because I dont want to be the girl who leads people on and just keep a guy around for the sake of it.
Alot of my friends are saying that I should keep talking to them so they can take me to restaurants and take me shopping but Im not a gold digger so I wont be entertaining that idea, lol!!!
If you're not attracted or interested relationshipwise, then leave them alone and dont string them along.

yes, i ended being married to him fir 16 years, had two kids, i did end up loving him, but fell in love with my second hubby, felt very guilty hurting my ex, i wouldn;t recommend getting in a relationship like that, as in the end the person gets hurt
