They have caused nothing but death and destruction...It still goes on today...Why should your religion exist;when over time it causes much hardship???? Religion will always seem outlandish and way to far fetched to be real to anyone with just a bit of true intelligence....Putting two and two together can never make five...Get it???

Good question.
The answer is ,, they seem horrible and inhumane ,, because they are.!

The reason why is not so complicated.
Man has altered the teachings in most Christian religions.
Man has also invented religions and sects that please himself.

So the problem isn't religion as such , but what man has done with it.

Religion , or should I say true Christianity is devoid of Pagan influence and other man made doctrines.
True Christianity promotes Gods will , and not some political agenda.
True Christianity is found in the Bible and only practised by a relative few.

Just like the Bible says ., 'narrow and cramped is the way of life but broad and spacious the path to destruction.'

Read the Bible , pray to God to show you the right way and follow it when you find truth.

Why do most religions seem so horrible and inhumane? Because they are. It is as simple as that. Don't worry to much though, because the number of people flocking to religion is on the decline. This is a fact. It's just hard to quickly bring something harmful to an end when generation after generation has been brainwashed into believing it. As we become more educated, religion will continue to fall to the wayside. It is just a matter of time my friend, the sad part is that most likely we won't see it in our lifetime.

Did Hitler or Stalin kill thousands, millions, over religion, I do not think so. There are many wars that were not over religion, but gaining territory., and killing off people they hated. We are war like people, and it was not what God wanted. Life is a test, and a growing experience. God made us for a purpose, He was the only thing that could make something from nothing, so why would He want us to kill each other. He gave us a choice, and we chose violent nature, by defying God,and listening to evil. If you can think out of the box, don't you think that God made many other worlds, and perhaps they do not have the problem that we do, being violent. There are galaxies that are seeding new planets that can sustain life, and just because we will become extinct one day, does not mean that other life will not continue to exist in other worlds. if you can think bigger than just you, we are really very small and insignificant, we are only worth something to God. Do not blame our violent nature on God, or religion, it is man who has chosen to do the killing over religion and their interpretations to justify the need to kill.

Caused nothing but death and destruction.... well if you call the Salvation Army death and destruction, the laws regarding murder, robbery, lying, death and destruction, I suppose that the 9,000,000 meals served in the first 30 days after Katrina by the Southern Baptist food missions really put a lot in the grave. I think to find the real culprit of your guilt, you should look no further than your mirror.

What do you mean 'seem horrible' - are they or aren't they ? or do you have some doubt about what you are saying. Of course religions aren't real they're mostly about the supernatural and what's real about that. I suppose the opposite to 'true intelligence' is 'untrue intelligence'.
Give me a break mate.

Do you question the intelligence of all who disagree with you, or simply religious people? It's a most unbecoming habit, sweetie.
