Freemasons are neither evil nor Christian. They are a social fraternity that teaches moral lessons through symbols, allegories and rituals. Many Freemasons are also Christian, but then again many are not.
Additionally, in the US alone, Freemasons provide over $1 billion in support to charitable causes per year. There is no other group that provides that much.
To some points already raised:
* They are also not anti established church as you have to confirm that you have a faith in a supreme being prior to becomming a Freemason.
* There is no hidden agenda that only a select few of the Freemasons know about.
* The Freemasons were never connected to the Illuminati; also the Illuminati died out over a century ago and were not re-born in the USA. The fodder you see about them is merely marketing so that people can sell books, movies and make money.
* Occult is an oft misused and misunderstood term. It comes from the Latin "occultus" and refers to "knowledge of the hidden". This is its usage in Freemasonry, not the modern occult = satan usage. Also, Freemasons do not have a dark history or meaning to their rituals.
* I have never heard a religious person state that personal character and good works do not help you get to Heaven (if that is the case Mother Theresa is probably not very happy right now), the Bible teaches no such thing; reference the 10 Commandments, any teaching of Jesus.... In any case, Freemasonry leaves salvation to the member's Religion.
* It is futile to respond to Hail Satan and Truth
* Freemasonry has not made empires, stupid social and economic systems that cause poverty, hunger and famine [sic]. That is the province of politicians, just as salvation is the province of religion.
* Similarly this could be used to discuss various feminist groups that individual that have to lash out at others to feel superior about themselves.
* In reference to its Christian context: "The stone that the Builders (freemasons) refused has come to be the cornerstone" is taken from Matthew 21:42 and the stone is "Jesus" and the Builders are the Rabbi in power at that time, they refused Jesus as the savior and Jesus became the cornerstone of a new covenant.

not neccesarily, but im no expert on christianity.
freemasons call them selves satanists but they are not LaVey satanists as they do believe in a higher power (not necesarily satan or god). when the club was first founded they did offer animal sacrifices and have rituals although that hasnt been happening in sometime. there is alot of rumors preading around about the freemasons and about the famos people that have been members of this secret club, for example "George Bush", "Winstone Churchill" and many other famos dictators, politicians and world leaders, if you look on the amerian doller close enough you can even see the freemason symbol! because of the amount of leaders that helped setup america were freemasons it technically makes america a satanic country!

No, they are not "evil Christians". Freemasonry is an organization dedicated to making good men better. At one time many of the church's elders and deacons would all have been masons, but recently some very ill informed Christian leaders have gone out of their way to brand it as a "cult", going even as far as to conducting teaching sessions about it where they pull quotes out of context and build a totally skewed picture of it.
Masonry does not teach any form of salvation nor religion. There is one thing that probably annoys some Christians and that is religion and politics are not discussed in the lodge, this is to preserve a sense of harmony. Think of it as an experiment in tolerance or getting along regardless of race, creed, or politics.

Yep. i've got study the form in this is intirety numerous cases. won't be in a position to discover the word god, jesus, christianity, etc., everywhere. in fact the only connection with faith is interior the 1st exchange the place it mentions that, "Congress shall make no regulation respecting an business enterprise of religion," which says to me, and each courtroom interior the land, that to communicate of united statesa. as having been consistent with christian principals is only unconstitutional crap. Get it? it may well be a criminal offense for the government to even "understand" christianity. As has oft been mentioned, the founding fathers have been amazing in need of a few blunders yet we've corrected those with added amendments.

Freemasonry teaches its members their duty to their fellow man.
Religion teaches its members their duty to God.
Religion and Freemasonry are compatable and do not compromise eachother in any way.
Many Christians, Moslems and other members of religious groups are freemasons and they are not in any way evil.
Please try to make a fair, accurate and objective assessment if you are interested in the answer, by some research. Try the University of Sheffield Masonic Research site - you will have to Google it.

Not really, they even believe in God, but they are of the opinion that their responsibility is to build the world as it is.
See, behind every religion, ideology, and curse, there are angels behind. These spirits or angels have been with us since the beginning of time.
God said: Let us make man in our image.
But evil angels Said the same,
So they as spirits have been influencing humans ever since, leading them to created big empires, reflecting in us the same goals they had against God. Jesus seems to say about them: "The stone that the Builders (freemasons) refused has come to be the cornerstone"
They have been leading us to make great empires, stupid social and economic systems that cause poverty, hunger and famine, etc.

Freemasons are not Christians. They have ties to the occult. Many of those who belong do not know the extent of the history nor, the dark meanings of the rituals.
The Masonic ritual (i.e., Masonry's ceremonial rites of initiation that all Masons must pass through) of the First, Second, and Third Degrees teach all Masons exactly what God condemns as a false gospel, namely that a person is saved and goes to heaven as a result of his or her personal character and good works. As all Christians know, the Bible places such a teaching under God's curse.

No...They only take care of each other. Lawyers, doctors, mechanics, etc. If one needs the other, it's done. They also support charities for health care. Free Masons are really misunderstood. Outsiders have no idea of the good they do. They can only speculate on what they don't understand.
