so far, first two answers are only after the 2 points. I took Biology, and it doesn't show proof of evolution. it proves that anyone can cut open a frog or pig, but I didn't see any signs of one evolving into anyhing else, except a dead frog or pig.

then if these so called anatomical changes you list, and genetic similarities exist,(back to my question) why did it stop?

Doesn't exist, I have asked countless times, oh you will get links to wikipideia, and museums, and others big minded places, but no one, and I do mean NO ONE, will send you a link that shows the clear fossil record of one change after the other in a species. You will be belittled, mocked, everything but give the simple evidence you ask for, you will be shown drawing, told "IT HAS TO BE" you will here "OK so you are right and everyone else is wrong' to that I would say, yes that about sums it up,

Here is my list. There is more, I just tried to stick with the easy to understand ones.
* Fossils - the order can be determined by stratification alone (no radiological dating) it is unarguable and life started simple and got more complex. Here is a simple chart to show what I mean: http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/fossils/succession.html
* Circular species. Meaning that it geographically evolved in two geographic directions with interbreeding possible between all steps but not the two ends. The two ends are actually separate species. Example: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/evolution/library/05/2/l_052_05.html
* Mitochondrial DNA regressive studies. - This comes only from your mother and the only changes to it are through mutations. These mutations occur at a known rate, and converge world wide 150,000 years ago give or take. If Eve (6000 years ago) was the only female, it would be almost identical world wide. It is not. The flood gives a second bottleneck that matches the facts even less well.
* Geographic distribution of related species. Meaning related species are usually near each other.
* Wisdom Teeth - there isn't room on your jaw for them anymore.
* Your little toe - totally useless. Nice intelligent design here.
* Your appendix - totally useless now but it does digest cellulose in other species.
* Your inner eyelids - They don't even work now, but they do for lots of other animals like house cats. Bet you didn't even know you had 'em.
* Vestigial DNA - meaning chromosomes that we have but don't use, but that are used in other species. We have several that other primates use but are totally useless to us.
* The fact that we share so much DNA among species
* There are no wild milk cows. They evolved through artificial selection and are totally man made.
* Different breeds of dogs, cats, livestock.
* Viruses and bacteria evolve quickly and you can actually see it. This is why you need a new flu shot every year.
* Your tail bone. It is even not that uncommon to be born with a tail.
* Goosebumps - this would be useful if we had fur because it fluffs it and makes more insulation. For us it is worthless.
* The hair standing up on your neck when you are frightened. Animals use this to make themselves look bigger. Doesn't work when you walk upright and don't have fur.
* The fact that humans have gotten measurably and heritability taller since the 1600s
* The fact that humans jaw have gotten measurably and heritability smaller since the 1600s
* The fact that humans little toes have gotten measurably and heritability smaller since the 1600s
* Human lower back problems. Your back is intelligently designed to have support from your shoulders.
* Transitional fossils - here are several lists: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transitional_fossils

The fact is , is that evolution cant be proved with science and that the very idea is full of holes.
For example , evolution adherents will agree that there is a fossil record of the most earliest creatures , dating back , a LONNNGGG way.
There is now a lot of information about these creatures.
But skip ahead a few million years to where man is supposed to be evolving and guess what , there is nothing.
There is no half man half frog creature , there is no monkey man making wheels.
These ideas are only found in illustrations in text books and NOT in fossil record.
So if there is a clear record about creatures that lived 10's of millions of years ago , how come there isn't any from half that age.
Science indicates there should be far more fossils of half the age.
But where are they.?
Simply put , the missing link is missing , because he didn't exist in the first place.
Evolution is flawed.

I love to hear people's claim that evolution is just a theory and not based on facts. Evolution has been proven time and again. It is a fact. Look at bacteria which EVOLVES to be immune to certain antibiotics. It can be reproduced, studied and observed in a scientific setting. This is evolution at work. Many Christians become confused because they don't understand what a Scientific Theory is. Scientific Theory is nothing more than a framework to explain things based on proven facts. Look at the Theory of gravity. We have never been to Jupiter, yet you don't claim that gravity functions differently there, just because we have not observed it. Just because the evolution of humans cannot be observed because of our long lifespans, doesn't mean that evolution doesn't apply to us. It does. This is totally different than the hypothesis of creation. It has no testable or observable facts to support it, yet it is repeatedly argued as a viable alternative to evolution when it isn't. Christians please educate yourselves before you come on here saying that evolution is untrue. You make yourself look bad. If you are going to argue a point at least be slightly informed about that subject.

Humans continue to accumulate mutations at 50-100 base pair codons per year. This is the rate required to account for the difference between human and chimpanzee DNA if we were the same species 3-6 million years ago.
A complete list of the evidence is way out of the scope of this forum, but can be found at
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/
And is divided into these categories
Unity of life
Nested hierarchies
Convergence of independent phylogenies
Statistics of incongruent phylogenies
Fossil transitional forms (Reptile-birds, Reptile-mammals, Ape-humans, Legged whales, Legged seacows)
Anatomical vestiges
Atavisms (Whales and dolphins with hindlimbs, Humans tails)
Molecular vestiges
Ontogeny and developmental biology (Mammalian ear bones, reptilian jaws, Pharyngeal pouches, branchial arches, Snake embryos with legs, Embryonic human tail, Marsupial eggshell and caruncle)
Present biogeography
Past biogeography
Anatomical parahomology
Molecular parahomology
Anatomical convergence
Molecular convergence
Anatomical suboptimal function
Molecular suboptimal function
Protein functional redundancy
DNA functional redundancy
Transposons
Redundant pseudogenes
Endogenous retroviruses
Genetic
Morphological
Functional
The strange past
Stages of speciation
Speciation events
Morphological rates
Genetic rates
Come on, it's just a click away. Click, read, and read more than a paragraph. Education can be fun once you get started:
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/
Kenny: Did you know that the strength of the magnetic field of the Earth FLUCTUATES? It grows stronger and weaker in cycles, and occasionally the polarity flips. This is recorded in the mid ocean ridges.
http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2003/29dec_magneticfield.htm
Taking it's current weakening trend and projecting backward linearly is just silly. That's like observing the rate of growth of 5-year-old and saying that when he is 45, he should be 52 feet tall.
Rrettga: Why do you say evolution has stopped? I said above that the human genome continues to mutate at the rate of 50-100 base pairs per generation. Also, examples of ongoing human evolution are provided by another answerer below.

Well I hope the frog was either dead or heavily sedated before you hacked your way through the flesh to the bone.
You were supposed to encourage sexual relations between the male and female frogs to cause the most important moment of reproduction of that species. Like the laying of the eggs and the seed by the little sperm released. Watching the tadpoles emerge and grow legs and what not until they become frogs.
Ah! I know you were asleep when the instructions were given out.

There's not enough room to get into it all. But the first two main ones are the differing morphology of fossil animals and major similarities in the genomes of all living creatures. Both of these things point to common descent. And since we don't look like dogs or elephants, yet share common ancestry, then evolution must have occurred.

There are a few important things to know about biological 'evolution'...
* DNA does NOT evolve... it experiences mutations (random).
* Organisms DO NOT evolve. Organisms are essentially the 'proxies' for altered DNA, playing out the 'game' of survival/procreation in 'meat space' (NOT random). DNA whose proxy organisms manage to procreate get to move on to the next round... kind of like Jeopardy.
* It is the genetic makeup of POPULATIONS of organisms (the 'gene pool') that 'evolves' (changes, over time).
Science does not 'prove' things. 'Proof' is for mathematicians, coin collectors and distillers of alcoholic beverages. Proof in science is applicable only in the 'negative' sense... i.e., hypotheses and theories must be 'falsifiable'. When scientists do experiments (to validate 'predicted' results), they are NOT trying to 'prove' they are RIGHT... they are trying to FIND OUT if they're WRONG. NOT being wrong simply builds confidence that one is on the right track... it 'proves' nothing.
Evolution is not a matter of 'belief'. I keep reading in here that "... evolution is just a theory... not a fact." That, as it turns out, is true... although the word 'just' is inappropriate, and misleading... and it indicates that people just don't understand what a scientific theory is; they seem to think that a theory is just an 'idea'. Nothing could be further from the truth.
In science, 'theories' occupy a higher level of importance than mere 'facts'... theories EXPLAIN facts. The Theory of Evolution provides an explanatory framework for the OBSERVED FACT that the genetic makeup of populations of organisms changes over time (evolves). The theory identifies two (2) mechanisms which account for such changes:
** Genetic drift... statistical variations in allele frequency within a local population, over time.
** Natural selection... the non-random replication of randomly varying replicators.
There may be OTHER mechanisms in play which have not yet been identified and accounted for, and various scientists continue to quibble about that... but NONE of what I have described above is in dispute within the scientific community. Claims to the contrary by creationists are nothing more than a red herring, designed to bamboozle their scientifically-ignorant constituency... which is VERY easy to do. That's what happens when your 'trusted' sources are professional liars whose livlihood depends on keeping their 'flock' (sheeple) steeped in gullibility, self-delusion, ignorance and irrationality.

"I took Biology, and it doesn't show proof of evolution."
Read; grade 9 biology (which you obviously flunked).
Look, let the guys with the high IQ and the good degrees from reputable schools get on with the Science of Evolution and you can keep your head in an outdated book of bronze-age mythology for your answers. Deal?

"Give documented facts of Evolution."
You're being intellectually dishonest. You don't really expect somebody to encapsulate all of the fossils, core samples, DNA comparisons, and zillions of other data in a single Yahoo Answers post, do you? You're really just baiting for a straw-man argument which you'll simply deny because you've made up your mind already.
If you REALLY wanted documented facts of Evolution, you'd head to the public library or search online for the tons and tons of hard data supporting evolution. It's hard to enlighten somebody who is figuratively plugging his ears and yelling "Nyah, nyah, nyah, I can't hear you!"

why don't you ask your question in the biology section? are you too scared to?
I mean you have realised that evolution has it's own section of biology right? (evolutionary biology) and that thousands of scientists spend their lives researching evolution. You don't think it's odd they would do this is if there were absolutely no evidence for it?
