Stay in the centre of Cappadocia :-)

Kapadokya in english "Cappadocia" is a large touristic town of Nevsehir with lots of hotels, motels and pansiyons in the center.it's one of the unique areas inthe world and you can't regret staying in a hotel that is built in a huge stone! (because of the local geographical landscape)

Try the local wines and have a baloon trip! Have lots of fun!

These people are right, Kayseri is too far away and if you stay in one of the small towns of Cappadocia you can walk to restaurants, cafes and museums, you will have cappadocia all around you.
Goreme is good, Walnut house is nice and smells like cookies. Goreme has a good cafe with great iced coffees.
Nevsehir: I stayed once, the hotel was built into the rocks and the owner's name was Abbidin Turk and he had an American wife. This is the only info I have.
Urgup is the wine drinking center and is a small town.
They are all good and better than Kayseri (where I have also stayed on business but I can't recommend it.

If you want I can look up these places for you, just add it to you question. I was a bit mad about Kappidokia and I used to go every chance I got. at least twice a year. I love it.

Neither. Try Urgup or Goreme. Kayseri is a bit far for practical touring, and Nevsehir is a bit, er, industrial-looking with a bunch of irritating people following tourists around plying their tours.

Definitely Gorome .... far better than the other two, as someone above has said...

Plus it's easier to get access to the underground cities and take a balloon flight over the area ...

You'd better stay in Urgup or Goreme. You may try Urgup "Burcu Kaya Otel" or Goreme "Turist Hotel"
