I'm sure they will. They won't give you what the car is worth, and they will you dig a deeper hole for yourself. You may be better off to have the car repaired, and bite the bullet.
You said that the car is not running now. Do you have an estimate of how much it will take to get it going again?
If your mechanic says that it will cost way more than it is worth,
then you may be forced to buy another one. Since money is tight, I would only do that as a last resort.

Good luck with it.

if the car was sold as is then there is no chance they will work with you . how ever if you have the same problem 3 times and it still is not fixed then it is a lemon and you will need to research your local lemon laws to see if they help you. the moral of this story is always get a car check by a trust worthy mechanic before you by.

you should have bought a cheaper used car from private owner..used all the money you spent to repair bad credit...do not deal any further with this dealership...are you insane?...they already screwed you once...it is obvious they want your money not your business...repair car so it is drivable and sell it out right thru local paper or ebay motors...then use money to buy a reliable cheaper car...this time from a nice family with a nice home...you wont be sorry...oh ya fix your credit...

I would contact an attorney and ask him about this. I know there are Lemon Laws, but I'm not sure about the time limit. They should have your registration completed by now. I would ask the attorney about all of this. You can usually call and ask questions over the phone without being charged.

The car is your property and your responsibility.........You can ask to trade in your car for another but you will only get what your present car is worth........I think The dealer has no legal responsibility to you for the state of this vehical.
