Anthropogenic global warming is a myth. The increase in the sun's output over the last century is directly responsible for 80% of the warming over the last century, and probably indirectly responsible for most of the rest.

Natural Global Warming and Cooling Cycles or a fairly well known fact. This latest cycle warming faster due to CO2 pollution by man is a theory that has been accepted as logical and plausible by most scientists in that field. Some scientists still question the theory.

its a fact!!! Global warming is a natural process that takes place through out time (geological time). After the earth starts to warm up it under goes natural climatic changes and after every global 'warming' the earth goes into a ice age.

The geological record shows that the Earth is normally hotter than it is now. For about 80 million years, during the Cretaceous and Tertiary periods the Earth's average global temperature was around 22ºC, compared to 14ºC now. For about 55 million years during the Triassic and Jurassic periods the Earth's average global temperature was again around 22ºC. For a brief million or so years during the Permian period the Earth's average global temperature was above 23ºC. For about 25 million years during the Devonian and Silurian periods, the Earth's average global temperature was again around 22ºC. For about 50 million years during the Cambrian and Ordovician periods the Earth's average global temperature was around 22ºC. There were four major Ice Ages during that time span, we are climbing out of one now.

Most people (scientists + the general population) don't dispute the fact that global warming is occurring.
The debate lies in how we can prevent it from occurring/slow down the rate, or whether it is a natural process that we cannot escape.
I think there is too much talk of it, no action. At this rate, it's just too late to prevent it. We should spend time on PREPARING for the occurrence, because we can't put it to a halt.

Its fact. Global warming occurs naturally. Carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere all the time. The problem occurs however when humans increase this amount by adding more CO2 from factories and car emmission, these are called fossil fuels or greenhouse gases.
This effect is actually called the greenhouse effect because these fossil fuels are trapped in the earth's atmosphere like heat become trapped in a greenhouse. This is what is actually causing the problem. Hope that helps.

The Earth is warming, but is man the cause? No one can prove that man can effect the climate. Until something can be proven to be true, then we have to accept that man cannot be the cause, that something else is effecting the climate. Most scientist believe the Sun is the cause of all warming.

Im pretty sure that at school i was taught that trees and plants had a fair bit to do with the atmosphere too.Natural filters and controllers of the eco system.Add the destruction of millions and millions of acres of rain forest and jungle on to the billions and billions of tonnes of co 2 and cfc's we spit out and i think we may just well be contributing to the changes. Is it really that hard to except it and say you know what, it does make a little sense, maybe we are nothing other than greedy evolved parasites bread on the scum of water slowly destroying our host mother earth and everything in it.

It's a fact! Because of too many carbon monoxide and all forms of non bio-degradable items that pollute the atmosphere and remains in it!
