Or would normal ones that fit your eyes suffice?

No, you don't have to, but the greater the degree of astigmatism, the more that missing component will tend to leave your vision a little fuzzy, or your eyes liable to strain with computer/closework.

Astigmatism of 0.25 or 0.50 is often not corrected when moving from spectacles to a contact lens Rx.
0.75... Some people would not notice, and go for the cheaper spherical lens, and some would be much happier with the the toric.
1.00 D or higher, most people would be significantly better off having the astigmatism corrected.

Yes, toric lenses might help u to see clearly. I have astigmatism, n i tried many different brands of normal lenses but after an hour my vision was getting blurred. So nw im planning to go for toric ones. It also depends on ur power, if ur lens power is high, its better u go for toric ones.

I have astigmatism and I just use acuve advanced for astigmatism brand contacts, disposable 2-week lasting ones, they're fine.

Unless you have an especially complex prescription, your astigmatism can probably be corrected with soft contacts, and you have many options.

It used to be true that you couldn't wear soft lenses, but not anymore. They even come in disposable, frequent replacement, multifocal, or colored varieties?
