He's always really nice and sweet and i think he's sending signals but i've been wrong before how can u tell?

the key word here.
so you don't really know if he likes you or not, so don't just ask him if he likes you, unless you aren't afraid of any increase in embarrassment. but take it slowly. if you THINK he's sending signals, test your prediction by asking him if he wants to grab some ice cream with you, or have a smoothie somewhere nearby, or anything else that you wouldn't consider a "date" but as something that you would normally do with your friends. the relationship will most likely build up very quickly, and if lucky, you may find this action becoming a normal routine. before long, you should get the big bingo.

You would have to specify your signals but well...
1)Give you a very nice smile everytime he sees you.
2)Never make fun of you.
3)Always raises your name in a discussion, for good purposes.
4)Always there to help you.
5)Doesn't mind being called a geek for sitting next to you OR simply sit next to you and start a converse.
I mean, these aren't alot but those are the basics to get things working.

If he likes you and he is getting the messages that you like him then he will ask you out. If your talking sometime then ask him if he likes anyone or wants to date anyone, then go from his answer.

uhmm well the way it works for me, i add them on myspace, start chatting them up....let them know you and then....he realizes you're cool and asks you to hang out w/ him someday and you live happily ever after...gosh if only it wer that easy huh
