I agree, and I find it hilarious that they're blatantly looking for "kid friendly" ways to coerce more people to their religion, while claiming others are doing the same.

back, I consider Nightwind. i certainly cherished the movie. yet then, I understand the difference between fictional leisure and fact. people who take such and have confidence it to be actual have larger problems than no longer understand-how witchcraft. or perhaps nevertheless it became fiction - there have been some solid classes to it, even people who many Wiccans and witches can consider as on the subject of their prepare. "actual magic is neither black nor white. this is the two because of fact nature is the two, loving and merciless, all on the comparable time. the only solid or undesirable is interior the heart of the witch. existence supplies a stability of its very own." additionally, strikes have effects. What skill you deliver out would be back to you. those have been portrayed interior the movie. The movie does not point out Wicca, so it does not offend the religion. And the witch interior the movie who had the main "skill" became Sarah (Robin Tunney) - who became solid at heart and tried to do the excellent issues. Now, how Wicca became portrayed in a present day episode of "The Mentalist", wherein Robin Tunney performs a cop, nicely, that became a shame. There we had an actress taking part in a witch who additionally claimed to be a Wiccan Priestess admiting to casting a "loss of existence spell" on a teenage boy because of fact she theory he "deserved to die". and he or she became luring all the close by adolescents into her prepare against their mothers and fathers desires. Ugh. yet then as earlier, if human beings decide us consistent with a fictional tale, then they're those with a topic.

Ooh, who's playing God?
They made the evolution of homo sapies from primates into a 6-part docu-drama on BBC1 here in England (I even bought it later on video) - I don't really see that this is that much different.
Its an entertaining way to learn - what's pathetic about that? As an atheist, it wouldn't interest me, but I imagine its more interesting for some Christians than reading the bible.

your taking the mick right, how long is that DVD?
theres a good reaon kids arent interested in the bible, compared to fairy tails nowadays its way to long and boring! putting it on dvd is just another way of making children believe in something they dont really believe!
it seems wrong to me that in RE lessons you are forced to argue with a teacher who will try and prove anyfaith other than his own wrong, well, hes obviously going to win cause hes 40something and the children are, well.. they're children!
actually when i was young there was a program about people who followed jesus, i cant remember what it was called, but it was a cartoon, i used to watch it cause of all the sword fights, i had no idea how violent and cool it would have been to live in those times
sorry for the rant, its over now

Some people either can't read because it immediately puts them to sleep, like me! or they just plain can't read. If a audio book or a DVD gets the message across and keeps those involved interested I don't see a problem, in fact maybe I see a solution to helping spread the word, and god knows we need any kind of help to spread the word. So I say" to each his own!"

so does this mean there's a "HOLY DVD"??
Sorry but the whole thing fell apart when they switched it over from the latin mass and put the bible into all other languages then latin. Just took all the magic out of it.
edit: Oh hey, does this mean they have to get a Sacramental DVD Player for it or does it work on any old player?

pathetic or not, its the truth. Kids aren't interested in reading the good book, but if a moral or lesson is learned via DVD, then why not. It may inspire them to actually READ it and learn something from it. TOO many have strayed from the 'instruction manual' of life.
Just think, if more 'saw' the "movie", maybe there would be less HATE in the world.

Sorry, I don't see anything wrong with it. If people want to buy a DVD set of the Bible, that's their business.

I really don't see your point. The bible is on DVD - why not? You sound like the generation that said: oh no, the bible has been translated from Latin into "normal" languages plus it is available as a book. A book!!!
