I had a piercing in my ear REpierced about two months ago. It's about halfway up my ear - still in flesh, but nudging against cartlidge.

I first had the piercing put there about 4yrs back but they put in normal studs and they used to get irritated/infected easily so I took them out and this time they gave me labret studs. I've never had a huge problem with scarring (I've got 3 other piercings in my each ear), but these piercings are about 1mm away from the old one and now I've got quite a bit of scar tissue in there. I've tried tea tree oil but that didn't work. Can anyone suggest something to help lessen the scar tissue a bit?

the scar tissue's there to stay - unless you get a doctor to cut it out (which seems counter-intuitive). you can lessen the appearance of scars with treatments, oils etc, but the scar tissue itself won't really reduce ever. sorry

TEA TREE OIL is an anti fungal... try peroxide for any infection and vitamin E oil ( poke a hole ) in a jell cap and apply to the skin...promotes healing
