after talking one month on the phone, we get together. We have great chemistry, and our first date was full of laughs, relief of finding each other attractive after talking and deciding to meet. 3rd date we have sex. each date was 1-2 hours long. Now he is gone. can't reach him. he did answer a few call s and tell me he was going out of town, then would get back to me. I am middle aged for goodness sake guess I didn't expect someone to ditch and run............is this really something that we still do is lie, and hurt at this late date in our lives?????

Only 1 to 2 hours long. Who did he pick up after he dropped you off? That should have been your first clue. I know what you are feeling. It seems that men are just so cruel. Once they get what they wanted, they run off. I keep hoping that a nice one will come along, but I just can't figure all of this game playing out. I don't feel like playing games anymore. Be careful, there are plenty of married ones out there just looking for a little strange stuff. They come on like they are in love, but then they have to sneak around to see you, so they are not seeing you very often, or for short periods at a time. This is what might have happened to you. Just hang in there girl. A nice one will come along eventually. Hold out on the sex a bit longer. Get the big picture first!!!

Unfortunately, yes. Men really don't change and a lot of women will see so much good in a guy and never think that he will do such a thing (I am one of those women). No matter what the age...your heart as well as your mind will never cease to be played with.
