It's been about 3 years since I've seen this guy. I've forgiven him for breaking my heart, but I haven't forgotten him. Three years ago, he showed numerous signs of affection indicating that he is interested in me such as sending flowers on Valentine's Day, calling everyday, and encouring me to move closer to him, just to name a few. (NO!!! We did NOT meet online. We actually met at work. Because we work for a large corporation, he's stationed at a different location.) However, he's never said, "I love you." Instead of waiting for him to say it to me, I said it first. I thought he would feel the same way, but his reaction was not what I had in mind. 'Till this day, I still remember the words he said to me, which was, "I can't say I feel the same way." That day, he went on by tell me that he won't be able to commit to a relationship for the next 5 years. Since that day, he has never called nor accepted my calls. I haven't seen him since, but lately, I've been thinking about him.

them harsh words come to your mind because he broke your heart and because he really hurt you... its natural for you to think of the pain he caused and the fact that he rejected you... rejection is always thought of way after it happens, it hurts... Its left over pain that was never resolved and the fact that he just ignored you after words doesn't make you feel like you got any real closure...

FORGET HIM. There are lots of fish in the sea, as they say. He took advantage of your feelings, probably served his EGO one huge meal, then when it came to committment, he may simply have "gone on" to someone else. He doesn't deserve your tears. Perhaps he was even married or in another relationship then. OR he is simply egomaniac.
ANOTHER THING - office relationships generally don't go down well with Supervisors, you may just have saved your job!
Your new life starts TODAY if you want to: pamper yourself, go for a drink, be confident, and the world is yours. GOOD LUCK.

you did the right thing when you told him about what you feel because that make your way clear if you shouldn't start maybe live in a lie.
so if you want to give him second chance you should tell him that he broke your heart and start clearly paper but you think first if you still like him or not
and no one can tell you that you should know and choose what you will do

You forgive him because its the best way for you to do, so that you can move on. You cannot forget him, maybe, because he made a great impact deep in your life. But actually, it is your choice whether to forget him or not.

take it as n experience and move on. he was obviously scared of committment and you don't need guys like that. its sometimes nice to think about the past, just as long as it doesn't dictate your future.

nope, you haven't forgiven him yet..if you truly forgive, you forget about the past things he did and accept him..guess, you still need time to heal the pain he had done....
